I Remember You

Lee Min eyes widened when he saw Anna passed out. He used his free hand to catch Anna's head before she hit the window. His eyes keep glancing between Anna and the road. He was driving for god's sake and someone was fainted inside his car.

After he gently lied her on the seat, he pulled over the road, getting his phone back. His brother called him just then. He answered his call just as soon.

"Min-ah, what happened? "

Lee Min gaze was into Anna. "She fainted. I don't know why. Did you said something to her?"

"No. I asked her what has happened to her but she didn't answered. Then Cha Jian took over and asked her the same, but still no answered."

Lee Min watched Anna, intrigued about her. She came from nowhere and asked him for his help. He has doubt on her, on everyone particularly so that's why he asked his brother first if he should help her. After his brother replied his text to help her, that was when he told her to enter her car and he would bring her to the police station which means he needed to use his fake ID.

A months ago he was almost killed by Lee Joonyoung, a psychopath who kidnapped and raised him. He keep feeding him lies that his brother never searched for him which was not a lie but it was not his brother fault although his brother keep blaming himself for it. His brother told him he was a special kid, or so he said just to make him better but he knew that he was just as crazy as Lee Joonyoung.

Lee Min has killed people which he thought he must killed. He believed that every person that he killed deserve to be killed because they have done bad deeds. So even if he killed them, he felt that he was not in fault. He still believe in that until now. Lee Hyun make him promised that the last person he should killed was Lee Hyun, himself. He kept his promise to no one but his brother and ever since they've reunited, he has changed bit by bit but his preference stayed the same way.

Although it was wrong by law, Lee Hyun pulled his string to help Lee Min forged his identity as he deleted all his based data as Lee Min and his second identity as a lawyer. His third identity was his own name but different family status. He has no brother or parents and he is an orphan. The orphanage that he used to live was burned so there's no proof of him living there so Lee Hyun just put one to one and his new identity finished. But the truth was, he has a brother, and his mother and father was murdered. His mother was murdered by a robber which he and his brother saw with their own eyes, while his father was killed by Lee Joonyoung and Lee Hyun witnessed it. Lee Min was kidnapped at the same night when Lee Joonyoung killed his father.

To catch Lee Joonyoung, Lee Hyun and his team needed witnessed and Lee Min was one of the kids that raised by Lee Joonyoung. All of the kids that were raised by him was physically and mentally abused by their own parents. He took the kids, not before killing their wicked parents, or so he thought. Some of the kids hate him to gut for killing their parents as what they said, not matter what, they're still their mother and father. But the others kid worshipped him like God, willing to kill for him. Of course Lee Min could be a witness but Lee Hyun doesn't wanted to risk his brother. Because once the police started to dig on his brother past, they would know the fact that his brother was a murderer. It was a selfish part of Lee Hyun but he doesn't care.

It was easy for Lee Hyun to trace the kids but hard for him to squeeze the information about Lee Joonyoung. For now, only one kid, which was a man, a policeman to be exact, willing to be witness. The policeman was under his team before but he was on jailed right now, for killing a policewoman and helping Lee Joonyoung. But he willing to help the team because they have warmth him with their loved to him although they're merely a stranger at first.

"Do you think she is one of Lee Joonyoung's kid?" Lee Min asked, almost whispering.

Lee Hyun paused for a while before answering him. "I don't think so. You're just moving to Jeonju a week and it's been a month and Lee Joonyoung still didn't make any move. But Cha Jian shared the same doubt as you. How was her conditions when you met her?"

"She was absolutely terrified. She didn't have anything on her and she said she didn't remember anything. But she asked me who I was before she fainted. " That make him doubt her more. Did she know him? Did she was really related to Lee Joonyoung? Or she did has lost her memories.

"That's indeed strange. Why did she asked you that? " Lee Hyun asked more to himself. "I think you need to bring her here first. "

"To Seoul? Like right now? It's midnight now. "

Lee Hyun chuckled. "Tomorrow, I mean. You did invite me and Cha Jian for housewarming right? Bring her to your house tonight and tend her need. Check her pulse, her blood pressure and any signs of fever or anything. Report to me. "

Lee Min shook his head. "You are now in forensic who investigate dead body, not a living one hyung. "

Lee Hyun was once a detective too but he chose to change his field to forensic because he thought he suite it more. Besides, he has his own plan to catch Lee Joonyoung through his job as forensic.

"A body is still a body. Living or not. Just do it. We can't risk her to other police if she's indeed related to Lee Joonyoung. "

Lee Min started the engine, ready to drive back to his home. "Alright, I get it. Goodnight, hyung. "

"You too, Min."

Lee Min parked his car at the parking lot before he went to the passenger seat. He opened the door, unclasped Anna's seat belt before he gathered her on his arms in a bridal style. She's light in weight, just as what he thought. He closed the door using his shoulder before he pressed the button to lock his car.

Entering his house, he make his way towards the guest room, gently lying Anna on the bed. He went back to the kitchen cabinets, grabbing the first aid kit before returning to Anna. He checked her temperature and blood pressure. She was a bit cold and everything else was normal. He tuck a blanket on Anna's body before turned the light off. He then text to Lee Min about Anna's condition. His brother replied his message minutes after.

Lee Hyun - Note taken. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Try not to intimidate her too much. Ask her if he know you, politely.

Lee Min almost rolled his eyes. His brother still treated him like a kid.

Lee Min - I know. I'll sleeping now. See you tomorrow.

Lee Min placed his phone on the table. He watched Anna who was now sleeping peacefully on her bed. He tried to remember any face that he saw from Lee Joonyoung's pictures collection but he found none. There's no kid who resemble Anna. "Who are you?"
