Chapter 1

Summer had ended
School started at 10:00 odysseus was not in the mood for another year in that piece of shit high school but "at least its the last year" he would go there,he thought to himself he got out of bed at 9:30 he took a quick shower,took a look at his red mohwak put a black long t-shirt on and his favourite ripped off jeans .
His mother was on the table drinking her usual greek coffee and having a smoke
"Morning mom" he said to her as he was preparing his coffee and lighting a cigarette "would you rather have some breakfast maybe and quit that smoking?" She said turning her head to the Tv "isnt it hypocritical for you to say that tho? Youve been smoking since you were like what? 14? "
odysseus said as he put his coffee on the table "i was hanging around in the wrong crowd odysseus just like you" odysseus let out a sigh as his mother was looking up at her tall son as he was getting off the table and getting his bag.He closed the door and was on his way to school
He arrived at 9:50 were his friends Aris and panos usually arrived everyone else was at school much earlier
"YOO PUKE " Aris yelled at odysseus.
Puke was his nickname since middle school were he started becoming Punk
"Whats up"
"Duude were have you been all this time you didnt seem to get a break from your job" Panos said
"Delivering gyros, maan its a struggle"
odysseus said as he was looking to see if there were any new students
And a praticular girl caught his eye
She was sitting on the bench
She was the most beautiful girl he ever laid his eyes on
She was black with a purple small fro
She was wearing a pink short top
With some black jeans
"Hellooo earth to puuke" aris said
"Who you staring at-
Ohh thats Korina,man shes new in Athens" said Panos
odysseus couldnt take his eyes off of her
She gave him a glance and smiled at him
He could feel his heart busting out
odysseus had lots of girlfriends but none of them felt special to him.

But her
Oh maan it was like he was a little kid and saw a fairy and then he thought "i aint no pussy imma go and talk to her"
So he started walking up to her "new here?" "Yea and im kinda anxious" she said with a sad face looking around"dont worry about it,if youre thinking that youre going to be alone in breaks,that aint happening come hang out with us" she smiled "that bald ass dude over there with the weird ass tattoos? thats panos,and the guy with the curly hairdo thats Aris-"
"And you aree?" "Im odysseus" he gave her his hands "im korina" she said shaking his hand "cool name" "i was born here but my family is from nigeria,but i lived most of my life in thessaloniki" "salonikaa man i love it there"
Then the bell rang and everybody went to their classroom
Korina was in the same classroom as him,he felt so lucky
The teachers gave them their books and then everybody started leaving.

Tomorrow school would start for real
Crazy ass teachers,girls gossiping about every lil shit,studying for greek exams to get into universities

The odyssey was starting.
