The age of advancement,
The century, where people should be more accepting of people,
The age where there will be a change
This is the age,
Where a female is more than how pretty she is,
She is intelligent, she is brave,
She is as gentle as the ocean on a calm morning day yet as ruthless as the stormy sea,
She is a hero in her own fairy tale, not the damsel in distress
A female is,
not some object that can be discarded once done,
She is a being, a being with a life ahead of her,
She is a lover, a fighter, and a warrior,
A warrior who demands the respect that's been long overdue
This is the age,
Where males are more than what they portray,
where he is confident, not arrogant,
Where he is weak yet strong,
A protector of all, not a tormentor
A male is,
Not the one who whines at his losses, he stands up and tries again,
He does not abuse his power, he uses them to do good,
He is made strong because he needed to be,
To use his built, his whole being, to stand above the storm
This is the age
Where being bisexual is equivalent to being confused,
Inaccurate really, they're just them,
Persons who've strayed, but found their way, changed,
A heart that's big enough for two, a heart that they own.
A bisexual is,
A human too, with a bigger outlook on life,
Where they aren't bound by rules,
Where the beauty of love can be found,
The kind of love that can only be found inside of you
This is the age,
Where being gay is just a phase,
Well, they'll prove them wrong,
Afraid of coming out? Yes, for the time being. Terrified? No, never,
Hiding is a thing of the past, they got pride and they wore it like armor
A gay is,
Human too, you know, they are the ones who aren't afraid to love,
To love someone whose the same yet different,
It is because of their strength that they survived,
To fight for love and to live for it is what they do
This is the age where there's more than two,
More than male, more than female,
The age where loving someone knows no boundary
Where it is you who choose who you want to be
And that's what truly matters, so
Welcome to the 21st century,
The age where there have been changes,
The age where prejudice should be a thing of the past,
And hopefully, it'll be the century where we can finally accept who we truly are.
