Gay Marriage (Brittana + Klaine)

Santana and Brittany were sitting on their couch one day and Brittany squealed. Santana looked at Brittany worried whilst she was jumping around their living room.
"Britt, what's happening?"
"I just read that the Supreme Court are going to consider making gay marriage legal in all 50 states."
"Oh my god Britt!"
Brittany decides to phone Kurt and Blaine to see if they knew.
"I can't believe it Britt! Me and Blaine and you and San might be able to finally get married."
"This is actually the best thing ever Unicorn!"
Santana looked at Brittany in awe. She couldn't believe that it could be legal for them. She couldn't believe that her and Brittany would be able to get married one day.

It was June 25th and Brittany turns to San and says
"We should have a party tomorrow!"
"That would be lovely but how about we decorate the house, get some snacks in but we stay here by ourselves. Because I want to hear the news with my hopefully future wife."
"Ok then San." Santana leaned in and gave Brittany a quick kiss on the lips and Brittany dragged Santana to their car so that they could go shopping for everything they needed.

The next day, Santana woke up to see Brittany decorating their bedroom with pride flags and unicorns and everything glittery that she could find. Santana couldn't believe that today was the day that she could possible marry Brittany. Brittany was the love of Santana's life and she couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with her one true love.
Later that day, Brittany had dressed up in a rainbow outfit with a little unicorn headband on her head and insisted that Santana dress up as well, so Santana ended up wearing a rainbow top, some black jeans and her own unicorn horn.
The girls returned to a similar position on the couch from a couple days ago, both sitting down cuddled up together and were on the phone to Kurt and Blaine. This time it was Santana and Blaine talking.
"Ok, they're announcing it in 3 minutes," Brittany screamed across the phone.
"Ok we better go then guys." Santana announces.
"Ok, talk to you guys later." Blaine replies.
People in the crowd on their tv had started counting down and Brittany joined in
"5...4...3...2...1"
"Gay marriage has been legalised in all 50 states." The girls heard from their tv. They couldn't believe it, they were allowed to be married. Brittany immediately jumped out of her seat and screamed.
"San, we can get married, it is legal for us to be wife and wife." Brittany didn't hear Santana react so she turned around and she cried when she looked at Santana.
Santana was down on one knee, with an open box in her hand. Inside the box was an engagement ring.
Brittany started to cry so Santana decided to interrupt her sobs with a speech.
"Brittany, since the first day I met you I knew there was something different about you. You filled my life with so much joy and if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be happy today. I would still be my unhappy, 'straight', bitchy self. You helped me realise who I am and you helped make me into the person I am today. You light up my life in so many different ways and it was scary. It was scary, knowing that we wouldn't be accepted by everyone. It was scary not knowing what would happen to our relationship but for some reason, all those fears go away when I am with you. When I'm with you, I feel light and happy. Not knowing whether we could get married one day terrified me. But now we can. So Brittany Susan Pierce, the love of my life, will you marry me?"
At this point Brittany was sobbing and all she could do was put the ring on her finger and pull Santana into the biggest hug that Santana had ever received. After the hug, Brittany had calmed down a bit and replied,
"Yes, Santana Diabla Lopez, I will marry you."
