Chapter 3

Chris's POV

I groan sitting up, I was in a crater. I don't know who I am. I stand wobbling my way to house up ahead. I collapse at the door, "H-Help..." I could feel the color and blood leaving my body and quick. 

Kara's POV

I hear a thud outside the door. I slide down the stairs opening the door which stopped me. There he was, A demon. I picked him up and carried him inside. There was a gash in his side, I tap it healing it. I set him on the couch and sit in the recliner, "Silly Kid. His powers must be just kicking in." He turns on the tv watching the news. It talked about a sudden meteor that fell through the sky last night. I just shook my head. I changed to my black and red outfit the two holes for my wings. I fold my wings down keeping them hidden. I put the necklace from Zane, My boyfriend, that keeps me from going too far. I stand at the doorway as his head begins to rise. My Time to Shine.

Chris's POV

I opened my eyes, Now I am somehow on the couch. I sat up and looked around, I saw a guy there. He wore a suit, It had a red dress shirt with a black vest. He had black jeans with dress shoes. He had a little cross with black wings around his neck. I swung my legs off the couch as I heard, "I am Kara Shinzou, Kid." I just noticed he had a cigarette in his mouth. I stood up, Still a bit wobbly. I wobble to the door frame, Gripping it as I heaved. He stepped back, "Watch the shoes, Kid." I looked up, "Chris..." 

                                                                        ~9 months later~

I walk back into town, The tail on my tail coat suit flaps in the cool morning wind. I had a deep dark purple tail coat suit. My shoes shine with fresh polish. The sun shone on my brown and purple hair. The townspeople feared my sight. Every person dodged my glare. I saw the building, Where Ashley lives. I buzzed her apartment and smiled at the sound of her voice. 



Ashley's POV

I hear someone buzz my apartment. I walk to the door, Hoping it was the police coming to say they found Chris. I press the button and say, "C'Mon up." I let the button go and unlocked my door. I changed into my outfit for the day. I heard the door open when I heard a voice I haven't heard in so long, "Honey, Do you still have my clothes?" I look at Chris, He looked hotter in the suit. His blue eyes were so inviting. I screamed, "YOU'RE ALIVE!!" I ran up and jumped into his arms, crying. He smiled, "I can't die without a goodbye." He set me down and got serious, "Don't say a word until I'm done. Ok?" I nodded. 

                                                                        ~2 hours Later~

I sat there, staring at him. My mouth open. I was frozen in fear, I couldn't move a muscle. I finally could and choked out some words, "You're a D-Demon?!" He nodded slowly, "Don't call the police, Please..." I nodded as I said, "Since when?" He looked down, It all started at 6 years old. It all kicked in when we got together." I stared into his blue eyes and hugged him, "That will never change my love for you...It never will." We sat there for a long moment, Star crossed lovers reconnected before the storm that will shake the earth.
