I opened my eyes to somewhere unfamiliar, the first thought in my head is why I was still alive. The last thing I remember was some clothed guy breaking my mask. I sat up feel odd, as if my body was small and different. I looked at my paws to see they were a cub's paws. I then touched my face to feel that it was actual fur and my mask.
'There's only one explanation for this. Rebirth. Where's human?!' I suddenly realized and tried to call out but no words came out but a squeak. 'Darn, my body's now solid and has actual organs now. It might be some time before I can speak.' I tried to stand but fell back. 'And walk.' I got on all fours and started my expedition around the area. I came across some creatures similar to how I look, but they were different and threatening. I could smell their ill intent so I avoided them and continued my exploration.
My stomach soon rumbled for some substance. There didn't seem to be any fruit but there was a really faint smell of something coming from a high cliff. I decided to climb it but failed many times but my last attempt ended in a success. For some odd reason, my paws became latex and stuck to the cliff as I climbed. 'Super Puro... kill me.' I reached the top to see a castle like building.
'A building, maybe there's humans like in the books.' I went a long distance and peaked through some bushes to and see a hordes of my dear friend's species. 'Humans. Lots and lots of humans.' A woman wearing a white cloak suddenly stopped in front of me and crouched.
"Hi there little guy." She scratched behind my ears and it felt great.
"Summer, don't touch it. It's a Grimm, just look at it." A blonde guy came from behind the other human.
"Aww, don't say that Tai. He's different, just look at his mask and eyes." She pulled out a cookie. "Here you go cutie, don't mind him. He's just protective." I nodded and took the cookie and started to eat it. "Look Tai, he's eating it."
"I see that, but why. I'v never heard of a Grimm eating human food or being one as passive as this one." I finished off the cookie and looked at the two humans as they talked. I took this as my chance to sneak away and find a library. I went into the castle like building, making sure no one saw me and found a air vent. I Crawled through the vents for some time looking through opening until I found the library and came out. Then I grabbed some books and began reading them.

"Well aren't you an interesting one. Not only are you similar to the Grimm but have an interest in reading as well." Looking to see who it was, it was a guy with a cane and silver hair. He came towards me and looked over the books I had. "Your quite the glutton for knowledge, aren't you?" I nodded and he looked surprised that I understood him.
"Where are my manners, I am headmaster Ozpin. You don't happen to have a name now do you?" Nodding to his question but sense I couldn't speak yet and there was no paper or pencil so I decided to use the table. It took a few tries before my paws actually became latex again and wrote my name. "That's quite the trick you have there, Puro."
"Now, I have an offer for you. I would be willing to provide a room with books for you to learn and rest in if your willing to take it." I thought about it and decided to take it. "Great, I'll have it ready for you soon. Feel free to read here as much as you like until then and stay out of sight. Your an uncommon sight so it might give someone a scare." I nodded in agreement and he left me to continue my readings.
