You got to school and went through all your classes before lunch, (ex/bff/n) has been low key and has not approached you.

You walk in to the large lunchroom seeing all the tables and people. You see this one person wave to you.
"Hey, (y/n) come over here!" (C/n) called sitting next to a few of his friends
"Hey..." you said trying to avoid (ex/bff/n)'s table
When she saw you, both her fork dropped with her jaw and started to whisper to her friends.
"Oh yea I forgot to say i'm (c/n)" He said while getting a seat for you to sit at next to him
"Oh yea I know that." You said laughing
"You did?" He said back laughing
"Oh yeah your really popular. Everyone talking about you." You said back very low so his friends couldn't hear you

"Oh well I'm glad you know!" He said back and smiled

All his friends they seemed to like you. You ate lunch with them and then after said "Oh thanks for letting me sit with you all by the way."
