Sunday, October 15th, Present Day
Violet woke up extremely late on that fateful Sunday. It was well after 1:00 PM when the girl woke up, and she was typically a very early riser. She groaned and pulled her warm blanket close to her face as she rolled over, and embraced herself deeper into the blanket. The sound of the rain pounding outside her window caused her to fall asleep for a bit longer. After about half an hour of laying in her bed, she slowly rose from her bed and grabbed her phone to check the time. She sighed and removed her blanket from her warm body.
Violet stood up and stretched before she made her way to the bathroom across from her bed, where she slowly opened the door to the beaming light. Her hands quickly flew over her eyes allowing them to adjust to the light in the room, but once her eyes fixated in the room she couldn't help but let out a loud sigh as she saw the remainder of her mess from the prior night. She thought that this was all over and that she was finally coming to terms with everything, but a quick and painful glance in the mirror proved her to be painfully wrong.

It was an extremely boring day for Raven because she had been stuck inside all day due to the pouring rain. All through the day was just rain rain rain and solitude. Her day was spent laying in her bed, eating a shit tone of food, and drinking cans of red bull. She had finally had enough of sitting away her Sunday (surprisingly) and decided she was going to go on a ride....outside in the pouring rain. Most people would say that she was absolutely crazy for going outside in the pouring rain, much less riding her skateboard, but she didn't really follow the normal human standards anyway.
She quietly walked down the stairs and to the front closet where she kept her board, but out of nowhere her brother's hand was resting on her shoulder. Raven jumped and let out a deep and quick squeal. Her brother, Alec chuckled a bit at his sister's reaction but soon shook his head as Raven rolled her eyes playfully.
"So where are you going Ray?" he asked curiously "You know ma wouldn't want you going out in this crap"
"I was just gonna go on a ride, but to save your conscience you can just pretend like you neEeeEeEver saw meeEEeeEE" she said as she grabbed her board and jacket while slowly backing up towards the door.
Alec simply rolled his eyes while grabbed a black raincoat from the closet and tossing it to Raven. He then turned around and shooed her away as he smiled
"You're the best, bro" she said happily as she opened the door and stepped out
Raven walked out of the door and stood on the porch as she slipped in the raincoat over her black sweatshirt. It was cold and the atmosphere was grey, but the rain had let up a bit since earlier. Unlike other people, Raven liked it when it was rainy. No one ever came outside and it was quite calm and peaceful. She stepped off of the deck and took in a smell of the dewy air as she slid the board onto the pavement. In no time she was carefully skating down the street in peace. She had in an earbud and had a small smile on her face as she relaxed her soul.
She turned onto a street to begin her way home and glanced at all the houses as she passed. Some of the houses had a type of bay window that Raven was expecting people to be sitting in to admire the weather, but she guessed normal people didn't do that. The girl quickly snapped out of her thoughts as her body jolted forward a bit
"what the hell?!" she scolded to herself
Her board had stopped at a small stone. A Stone! Raven groaned and glanced up at the house that she had stopped in front of. It was one of the houses with a large sitting window, and Raven was surprised to see someone sitting in it. She unintentionally began to stare as she realized that the young girl was none other than Violet. Violet was sitting with her legs bent and her arms wrapped around her wait, but she was not looking out of the window, in fact, her eyes were closed as she leaned her head against the wall with her earbuds in. Raven let out a small (happy) sigh as she looked at the peaceful girl in the window. She didn't know that the girl had lived so close to her and found it ironic that she had stumbled in front of HER house.
After many moments of looking in the window, she noticed Violet begin to move around and raise her head. Raven went into panic mode, and she quickly threw her hood over her head and turned her face away from the window quickly. She slid the board back onto the sidewalk and sped off hopefully before the girl saw her.

Violet had cleaned up her bathroom and eaten some breakfast downstairs before she returned back to her room. She decided to sit in her window and look out at the rain as she listened to peaceful music. She had been stressed out all morning, and she surprisingly fell asleep in the window. But she woke up half an hour later. Her eyes fluttered open and fell outside to see her street. She saw someone stopped in front of her house and quickly jumped up. Violet was very startled and sat up as the person fled down the street and away from her house. She was very confused, but soon left the window and closed the curtain.

Raven arrived home out of breath, as she threw her coat and board into the closet she flopped down on the couch and closed her eyes. She couldn't help but see the image of the peaceful girl napping in her window. Raven quickly slammed her head onto the back of the couch and groaned. Her mind and urges were not going to get the better of her, so she put on Thor and relaxed into the couch...still thinking about Violet.
