Asia hopped up onto the satan sheets of the bed and curled up next to Lady Gaga, who was dressed in nothing but her silk robe. Still wearing her Italian curls wig from the earlier morning appearance, Gaga stroked Asia's black fur. Her chest ached with lonesomeness as it was just her and Asia for the next few weeks, as Taylor was off filming his television show.
"Promise you'll never leave Mommy," Gaga whispered to Asia. In response, Asia repositioned herself and deeply sighed. "Good girl."
Just as Gaga was reaching for the television remote, her phone began to buzz. Within a split second, her hands latched onto it before she answered the call.
"Hello?" Gaga said, tightening the tie on her robe. She shamed herself for seeming to eager, but she couldn't help herself. She missed talking to people other than her fans, though she loved them dearly.
"Gaga?" An aged, charming voice questioned on the other line. Gaga instantly recognised it as Tony, a dear friend of hers. "It's Tony."
"Why hello, Tony," Gaga giggled and continued to stroke Asia. Tony chuckled.
"I'm actually in the lobby outside, can you let me in, love?" Tony asked, coughing at the end of his sentence.
"Sure thing," Gaga sat on the edge of her bed. She looked at Asia over her shoulder and smiled. "See you soon."
Gaga kissed Asia on her head and then made a call to the lobby to let Tony in. She wanted to go and help him into the elevator in fear that he could somehow hurt himself on the way up, but she was only in her robe and Lord knows what shots the paparazzi outside would get.
In a few moments, there was a knock at her door. She bounced off the bed and over to the door. As soon as she swung it open, she wrapped her arms around Tony's boxy stature and long, beige coat. She smiled when he wrapped his arms around her, too, and breathed in the comforting smell of his cologne.
"Tony!" She squealed, stepping away from him and resting her body against the door. "Come on in."
Gaga helped Tony inside, sliding off his coat and throwing it on one of the chairs in the corner. She stood by the door and excitedly watched Tony look out her the window on the balcony.
"You've got quite the view here," Tony turned around to face her. "A lovely home, Gaga."
"Thank you," she blushed and smiled at him.
Tony gave a small wave to Asia, but immeadiately she began to bark at him. Gaga's smile dropped. She moved over to the bed and picked her pooch up. She patted her head and waved her index finger at her.
"Bad girl, Asia," Gaga growled at her. Her chin raised and she smiled at Tony. "Sorry about that, Tony. Why don't you have a seat?"
Tony slowly sat down on the edge of Gaga's bed and smiled at her. Gaga put Asia back down and moved closer to Tony, crossing her legs and folding her hands on her lap.
"So, what did you come to visit me for?" Gaga smiled, admiring his nose.
"I'm going to go to a jazz club tonight and I wanted to know if you would like to join me?" He smiled. Gaga's heartbeat began to race. A million thoughts rushed through her head. Did Tony actually just ask her out?
"I'd love to, Tony!" Gaga raised one hand to her chest, feeling flattered. "Just you and me?"
"Yeah, I thought that it would be great for Cheek to Cheek," Tony looked at his gold watch. Gaga's heart fluttered then flopped. Of course he wouldn't actually ever ask her out, despite the booming chemistry between them. "I'll take you out for dinner before that, too. I miss you, darling."
"Alright, Tony," Gaga's smile bursted. Finally. She slid her robe slightly further apart, revealing her entire leg to Tony. She was being purely flirtatious, besides Taylor would never have to know and Tony hadn't even noticed it. "What time should I be ready at?"
"How's 7:30?" Tony asked. Gaga nodded her head and reached to hug him.
"Can't wait," she whispered in his ear. Tony chuckled and patted her back. "Love you, baby."
