Not a lost cause

Sofie sat on the couch stiff ,her hands balled up into small fists ,sweat accumulating within their depths. Her eyes were focused on the television, brows furrowed and fixed in her position. Her mind wondering why nothing made sense, deep in thought she didn't notice the hand creeping towards her shoulder. When it landed she jumped a little from the sensation. She turned to see Charlie holding his hands up defensively."s-sorry, I d-didn't mean to scare you" Sofie shook her head. "It's ok" Charlie fiddled with his hands,"so anything new about their disappearance?" He asked. Sofie frowned "nothing."she grumbled as she slunk into her chair. She felt defeated, it had been nearly a month since will and the others went missing. Will, Chris and Chloe had gone out to get drinks leaving behind, CG5, Ck9c and Sofie. None of them had went ,since they didn't drink, Sofie wouldn't have had a problem with will and his friends going out. They were supposed to come back after a few hours after all. But that didn't happen, they never came back. Sofie thought they had gotten lost or something, but Will or someone else would have called them. It was also a possibility that their connection got lost, as it was weak in that area. Even then one person should have called when it came back.  It didn't soothe Sofie's mind either when news reports show many people going missing over the course of years.  The thought haunted her of losing her friends forever, but she hasn't had much hope. Many of the cases had turned up unsolved or cold , many from lack of evidence.  Sofia curled up into a ball and felt like crying, what could she even do at this point? They had went to the police and everything, but nothing..not a single thing has popped up. Sofie was sinking into a pit of despair, perhaps it was a lost cause...

"Hey guys I found something" called Jack from upstairs. Sofie stayed in her ball, it probably wasn't important to the case. " I think it might help us find our friends!" He continued. Sofie lept up from the couch and ran upstairs, pushing past Charlie in the process. "What is it?! " She asked desperately. Jack turned from his desk revealing a laptop. "It's Will's" he told her,"after all this time I finally figured out the password!" He happily stated. He seemed quite proud of himself. Charlie made it to the doorway and peered in "that's cool." He commented. Jack turned back to the computer, "I managed to access his photos on here, they seem to back up on his computer. If I look at the details, it can tell me where the photos /videos where taken, and when." He explained. Sofie smiled, perhaps there was hope after all.  Jack clicked on a video, "this is when they were at the bar"
The video:
Will was laughing, and holding a bottle of beer. His face was red from the alcohol. He pointed the camera to Chloe, her nearly passed out drunk, next to her was quite the collection of shot glasses. Chris was sitting next to her sipping on a coke can. He did a little wave to the camera.  Will began to count the shot glasses next the Chloe slurring his numbers greatly. After a few moments, he came up with the number fifteen (it was actually around 20 or Sofie counted them herself). Will cheered and complimented her for accomplishment and held up his hand for a high five. Chloe lifted her head, she was bright red and looked hammered. She clumsily lifted her hand in an attempt to high five him back, only to miss and smack the table instead.  Will giggled and the video ended.

"It looks like they had fun." Charlie remarked. "Yup, definitely too drunk to drive ,so that means Chris should have drove them back" Sofie concluded." Which means he took them somewhere and we have to find them. Wherever Chris  is ,they are probably with him" Jack stated. "I tracked Will's phone to it's last location, and it's pretty far" Jack told them. "So? Their our friends and we have to find them! " Sofie said. Charlie nodded"I'm with you","me too" jack replied. "Well what are we waiting for?" Sofie asked "let's go find our friends!"
