"Rose, show him the way, please." Louis told her as the got out of the lift.
"And then the old hag told me to... Oh!" Harry started, before tripping (again) "...look into the well and wish for my heart's desire. But I must have looked very far because I fell, down, down, down. And then I climbed out of this big, round hole and I got very lost until I fell off of the castle. And now here I am with you!" He concluded, with his hands on his hips.
"Is this a big habit of yours?" Louis asked, settling in a chair. "Falling off stuff?"
"Well, usually someone catches me." The bright eyed boy replied. "But, not to worry, I'm certain that Liam is already searching for me. No doubt by morning he'll come and rescue me from this strange land. Take me home, and the two of us can share in true love's kiss." He sighed dreamily, putting his forearm against his forehead.
"True love's kiss?" Louis asked, looking at Harry incredulously.
"It's the most powerful thing in the world.
"Right... of course, that makes sense."
"Now if I could only find a place to rest my head for the night." Harry sighed, sitting up once again.
"What kind of place?"
"Oh, I don't know. Maybe a nearby meadow or a hollow tree.""A hollow tree?" Lous asked, scrunching his nose at the boy.
"Or a house full of dwarves. I hear they're very hospitable." Harry said seriously, nodding as he talked.
"All I can do is let you in for a minute. Dry off, use the phone if you want to. We have our own bedtime to stick to." Louis said, before telling Rose to go brush her teeth.
"That's very kind of you." Harry said with gratitude, crossing his legs and sitting on the couch comfortably. Harry looked around the big apartment in curiosity, with its modern look of whites and blacks, maybe the occasional wooden furniture.
"What is it with this outfit of yours?" Louis asked, motioning the over-the-top plain white tuxedo, a yellow shirt underneath, a massive white bow wrapped around his waist.
"Oh. Do you like it?" Harry giggled, standing up and twirling around in a circle."Well yes of course, it's pretty, it's just..."
"I gathered the silk from my silkworms and I spun it
into thread on my spinning wheel." Harry clapped, performing a curtesy for Louis."You made it all by yourself?" Louis asked, impressed.
"Well, the mice and rabbits did help with the sewing." Harry replied, sitting back on the comfy white couch."Why don't we see about getting you a car." He ignored the weird statement beforehand.
"Couldn't he sleep here, Dad?" Rose asked, rounding the corner with her pyjamas now on.
"No. That's a big no, baby, Zayn is coming in the morning."
"Are you really a prince?" Rose asked in awe, sitting in front of Harry on the floor.
"Not yet. But... I will be soon." He said, yawning as he lay down on the couch and stretched his body whole."Wow, Dad. He's really sleepy." Rose stated, pointing to the boy.
"Oh, no. That's not acceptable. No." Louis panicked, grabbing Rose's hand and walking them to her room.
"You're not really gonna make her go, are you, Dad?" Rose worried, looking up at Louis.
"I want you to go to bed."
"But I think he might be a real prince." She whined, pulling on his hand.
"Rose, just because he has on a funny
suit, doesn't mean he's a prince. He is a seriously confused man who's fallen into our laps." He said, tucking Rose into bed.
