"Wakey, wakey."

Cheyenne was leaning over Millie.

"Are you ready?" She says. Millie woke and took a glance at Cheyenne and the record player next to her pillow on the ground. She groans, "I'm too tired to go to the diner with you. I'm also broke. I canceled that trip twice just now." Millie layed her head back down, and just right afterwards, Cheyenne stomps her foot. "Get up, we're leaving now. You have a job to be applied for!"

Millie sat up and got her dress on. "Today's the day," she muttered to herself.

As the mouse got into the back seat of Cheyenne's Cadillac, she became more and more nervous of the thought of meeting the owner. The two drove to the diner and grabbed a few snacks to have on the way to the restaraunt. Millie went in to pay for Cheyenne's part and as she did, she walked right into another woman who was coming out of the front door. The lady's drink splashed onto Millie's dress as the two collided. "Watch where you're going, girl! I'm in a rush!"

Millie watched the lady run to her vehicle with the drink and a few handbags. She admired her blonde hair and silked white feathers. Millie went into the diner to quickly pay, for she felt tears run down her cheeks. After paying, she got into the car with Cheyenne while sobbing. "Oh no...what's the matter, sugar?" She asks her mouse friend. "I-I didn't mean to run into that lady, honest! She seemed very mad at me. I hope I never run into her or see her again," she replied. Cheyenne reached into the backseat and wiped her tears away. "It'll be alright. Here. Take this piece of candy. I hope it cheers you up," Cheyenne says.

Millie wiped her dress off with napkins as she put the candy into her purse.

Cheyenne took the mouse to the inside of the restaraunt after arriving. "Wow, this place is such trash already! It smells like cigars and tomato sauce," she says with a squinched nose. The same lady from earlier was out front of the store arguing with a customer who was upset about the performer, who had accidentally scared their child. "Mr. Munch had done nothing to John! Look, the kid is perfectly fine now! He's such a little liar, Munch would never HURT anybody," the chicken said. The customer grasped John as they both left into the parking lot.
