~ Her ~
You know when they say 'A split second before you die, your life flashes across your eyes'. Well that's happening right now. Crazy right?
Before I jumped, I craved to suicide, but now, drowning, my life flashes across my eyes and I realise I needed to live. But now my future has faded away into dust just by doing something I now regret.
Black spots slowly covered my vision as the water filled my lungs. My body was pulling itself into the strong currents, everything faded to black.
I couldn't see anything
I couldn't hear anything
I couldn't FEEL ANYTHING
Thus must be the after life, God is finally making a choice whether I go to Hell or Heaven.
Wonder what he will decide....

~ him ~
My phone is dead. My car is dead. Dam it!! I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, needing to be at the recording studio in less than an hour. I cuss a few words and grab my bag with all my belongings packed inside and start walking along the road.
Less than twenty minutes into my walk, not a single car has driven past yet, this was like a ghost road. Nothing moved. Nothing!
I came across a bridge which was relatively high. My one fear that happened to involve heights. I lean against a lamppost, sweat forming across my nose and cheeks. My breathing patterns were quick and un-steady. My eyes land on a girl who was standing on the edge about to jump off, the moonlight shining through the clouds illuminating her figure.
I slid my bag off and started slowly stepping towards her, the height of the bridge still scared me but I focused everything onto the girl.
She slowly leaned forward causing her whole body to start falling with her, I immediately sprinted towards her.
She was half way down by the time I reached the edge of the bridge, without thought I plummeted into the water after her. Everything slowly faded to black as I got closer to the water, I saw her body lifelessly splash into the dark river waters.
Before I knew it I was under the water looking for this girl, it was dark, I couldn't see much. Fish was darting into my face so that didn't help.
I swam deeper but avoided the strong currents, I saw something white further down so I swam deeper and harder. I then saw hair, blonde. It is definitely her.
My hands found her hands and yanked her up and towards the surface, it was hard to find which direction I was going in but I managed to fight my way to the top. As soon as the cold air whip me in the face I swam, dragging the girl behind me. I pulled her up against the river bank and immediately tried doing C.P.R. I had learnt it when I did a coast guard course in California.
I studied her lifeless body trying to catch my breath and tried doing mouth to mouth many of times. I pulled up and hoped it had worked..
Two minutes had passed and finally she came to life, spitting and coughing up water next to her. She looked drained and tired.
"Thank gosh your alive I thought you would've been dead.. Well.. You were but.. Yeah you get the point" I say hurriedly. The moon shone down on her body making her look like an angel.
"I didn't want your help, I didn't want you to save me, why didn't you just let me die it would've been easier" she bursted. Her voice was angelic like, it fazed me.
"S-sorry.. I just.. It felt like I needed to save you.. And I conquered my biggest fear which is heights"
"Good for you I conquered finally having enough courage to jump off that bridge"
"Oh yay we both accomplished something today" I said with a big silly grin. I saw the corner of her mouth ever so slightly lift up but returned back to neutral. Before she could say anything I jump in and ask "What are you going to do now? Go back to your own family?"
She suddenly looks hurt "No, I have no family.. My family died in a black out fire in Australia.. I've lived as an orphan ever since a month ago and that's when things went down hill with a step family"
My heart broke when those words fell out of her mouth, I instantly hugged her and repeatedly whispered 'Sorry'.
She let me hug her but for about a minute she pulled back "Are you a pedophile?"
I immediately bursted out laughing and couldn't stop. "N-No I wouldn't" I say in between breaths, I tried to breathe and finally got it under control.
"Okay good" she says sheepishly.
"By the way my car is dead so we are kind of stuck out here" I say ruffling my hair with my hands.
"I know a bus that comes past this road at the end of it.. Which is about two miles out that way" she says pointing in the other direction I had originally came.
"All right then, are you willing to run away with me?" I ask her pulling her up onto her feet, I immediately wrap her with my own jacket to keep her warm.
She looks into my eyes and says "Sure, I can be your runaway girl"
