Alisha's P.O.V.
"Mom hurry up with my bags I can't wait!" I anxiously yelled while in the car.
"Ya know sweetie you could help"
"I'm busy checking off my list!"
"What list?"
"THE list mom now hurry!"
Meggie, my mother, threw my bags in the back of my truck. She hopped in the passengers seat and I sped off towards Australia University!
"Slow down Ali!" My mom yelled.
"Oops hehe sorry! I'm just excited."
"We'll keep it to a minimum because my baby is going to collage and I don't wanna get there to quick!"
"Alright! I wonder who my roommate is!"
"I thought you've emailed her before?"
"Well yeah but in like real life."
"Well hon-"
Interrupting her I spat out, "WE'RE HERE OMG!!!!"
My mom just sighed. I unbuckled not taking my eyes off the dorm area building. Meggie plopped my bags in front of me and said with a puff,
"Your turn!"
We walked inside. There was a desk in front of us where I get checked in I guess. Elevators, hundreds of dorms, cafeterias, balconies over the lobby! This place is amazing!
"Alisha." my mom said while waving her hand in my face.
"Huh oh yeah?" I said coming out of my daze.
Momma looked at me with concern and tears in her eyes. I set down my bags and wrapped my arms around her waist.
"I'll miss you bright-eyes" Momma whispered in my ear.
"I'll miss you too momma." I replied wiping my eyes.
"I'm Britney, Miss Alisha. I'll be showing you your dorm." The counter lady said while placing her hand on my shoulder.
I turned around and smiled then turned back to my mom. She blew a kiss then exited the building. Britney made the go ahead signal so we went towards the elevator.
This is gonna be my new life. Everyday for the next however many years! This is my campus life!
