Black Rose Part 2

Its been two days recuperating at Kyrie's home and everyone was starting to get restless, Red Grave City was almost completely over run. It was time to go back, but V was nowhere to be found so in the end you had to leave with out him. Nico crashed through buildings like a bulldozer, you just hanged on for dear life as she rammed a demon flipping the van. A demon screeched poking its head through drivers seat, you grabbed Dante gun from him and shot the demon dead centre, Nico didn't even flinch as she concentrated on destroying what's left of the city. 

Nico finally stopped and everyone got out feeling dizzy, you held your head am gone puke "O come on, Its wasn't that bad" Nico said resting her hands on her hips "Yea no it was way worse, you can't drive for shit " Nero said holding his hand in front of his mouth, swallowing hard. But before Nico could say something in response, Dante stepped in reminding us of a job that need to be done. You took a glance back from the direction you came from and sighed i wonder where is V, maybe avoiding him wasn't the best option, you felt your heart ace and made a promise when the opportunity arises you will let him know of your feelings..well at least try to.

Splitting up to cover more ground, you made your way silently through the shadows, it was very quiet and it made you restless. You stopped for a moment, it almost looked like statues littering the floor but you knew better, these are victims of the Qliphoth roots, they impale their victims, draining their blood and turning into Qliphoth pollen. Just a single touch turns them into dust, you sighed seeing the old and the young had fallen victim to this madness. 

"I'ts an ugly sight to see, isn't it" you froze when you heard a familiar smooth voice coming from behind you. V was walking slowly to you, you could hear is footsteps stop right behind you as you felt his warmth on your back. You could feel his breath on your neck, your heart beat picked up as a blush appeared of your cheeks. You didn't expect him so soon, he turned you around looking into your clear orbs as you made eye contact, your blushed deepened as you looked away. "why do you elude me so?" he whispered, looking down you sighed it was now or never " I can't think when your near me, my mind goes blank and I can't seem to find words" 

V chuckled "You are adorable little girl" you frowned when he used the word "little" but he just smirked at you, raising his hand to touch your cheek lightly with a slender finger, he traced your jawline. He sighed, resting his forehead against yours, your eyes widen at the sudden closeness, but you closed your eyes enjoying the moment. But V gently pulled away and growled, Griffon appeared "Not to ruin this touching moment but we do have company" He said flapping his wings, taking a look around you realised you are being surrounded by demons. V summoned Shadow and order his demon pets to attack, turning around just in time to see a demon bug jump at you, you saw shadow jump over you attacking the demon with a dangerous growl as he bit the demons head of, transforming into black needles he continued his onslaught. You looked over to V and nodded in thanks, getting your head in the game you started shooting with a demonic gun Nico gave you awhile ago. It was powerful as you could charge it with demonic energy, turning demon flesh into chunks.

Jumping over a demon bug you kicked one into another, turned around shooting the next one in the head. Suddenly a horrible screech was heard as a queen Empusa arrived, charging your gun til it couldn't take no more, you shot her head making he body fall to the ground as half her face was blasted off but a green butt Empusa  drizzled this green fluid over her that healed them but before he squeeze out a drop, you saw a pole with a sharp point and threw it like a javelin, impaling it to the ground. As Shadow and Griffin finished off the last renaming demons, V was standing by your side "We need a plan" you said, just killing demons while they keep spawning isn't helping. "Well first we need to get rid of some of the Qliphoth roots by destroying their blood pods" V said pointing at the pod with his cane. Walking over to it he japed his cane in to the red pod sending blood flying, the roots instantly died and turned to dust.

You nodded that was easy enough, clearing out the roots will weaken the demon tree and Urizen power. But suddenly you heard a crack as you and V froze, you realised that the roots were keeping this part of road together and when you destroyed the root, the support holding this part vanished. The ground beneath you suddenly crumpled, you reached and grabbed a ledge, V was lucky he had Griffon as he flew effortlessly out the gap. He reached a hand for you but as you wanted to grab it, the piece you were holding onto broke and you fell into the darkness below hearing V call out your name.

"(Y/N)!"
