"What did you say? The music is too loud! Can't hear you clearly!"
Shienna had been whispering on my ears but I can't understand what she says because of the noise in this room. We're having a party because James aced his college entrance exam.
"Your phone keeps on ringing! Can't you hear it?" She shouted on my ear I almost jumped out.
I looked at my phone with 10 missed calls. I immediately went outside the room to check it when it suddenly rang again.
"Hello, this is Feliz, why did you call?" I told the caller with an irritated voice.
"This is Aunty Jane. Can you come home right now? It's an emergency. Your father called me earlier and... come home quickly! I'll tell you when you're here already. "
"Okay, I'll be there in a minute" I replied and ended the phone call.
I ran back to the room and get my things and told my friends I have to leave early because of the emergency. I don't know what exactly happened to my dad and Im getting nervous and anxious.
I took a cab and ran as fast as I can to get to the door.
I am astounded by the amount of people swarming in our living room, there were police mobile too.
I look around to find Aunty Jane and I saw her at the kitchen crying.
Why is she crying?
Is something really bad happened to my father?!
I am not ready for this.
Did my father passed out?
collapsed?
or the worst part, dead.
There's something bad happened here that I don't want to hear it. I wanted to run.
To escape.
I think I already know what happened to my dad.
Something unfathomable that I am afraid, I couldn't handle.
