Fullmetal's Ice Princess

Chapter 1: Liore

Kim wakes up from her slumber to find herself in the middle of nowhere. She stands up and look around, all she see is miles and miles of sand. Out of pure instinct, she walks in a straight direction, hoping that she will hit a nearby city in this desert.

"Where am I?" Thought Kim, as she continues to walk through the sandy, dry, desert. "I need water. I can't go on for much longer." As she pushes on, she sees smoke from a nearby locomotive, before collapsing to her knees. The sand was burning hot as the grains pushes against her hands. Kim was then eclipsed by a giant shadow before passing out completely from dehydration.

Some time after collapsing, Kim awoke from her slumber in an unknown location for her. She was laying in a bed that was as comfy as sheep wool. She looks around and notice that she was in a room, nicely decorated and had a refreshing scent. She hears the door open and turned to see Rose coming in to check on her.

"Oh! So you're awake!" Said Rose. "You were found pass out nearby town a couple hours ago."

"Was I?" Question Kim. "Well thanks for taking care of me while I was pass out."

"No problem! Although all the thanks need to be deliver to those Eric Brothers."

"The Eric Brothers?" Said Kim, stung to hear the name. 'Where can I find them?"

"Oh! I can take you to them if you want, just come with me." Rose let out a bright smile. "By the way, my name is Rose. What may your name be?"

"Oh! My name Kimberlie. Just call me Kim for short."

"Kimberlie? What a strange name. I don't think anyone name Kimberlie til now." Kim starts to get out of bed and found her boots near her bedside. She puts them on and begins to stretch out her body.

"How long was I out?" Asked Kim as she begin to pop some bones for satisfaction.

"Several hours I believe," said Rose. "Hey! Do you mind if I stop by the main room in the church of Leto for a bit? I want to say my prayers. It'll only take a couple of minutes."

Kim sighs under her breath. "Sure, but after that can you take me to these Elric Brothers?"

"Yeah! Of course!" said Rose as she takes Kim's hand and rushes to the door, causing Kim to almost trip from the sudden force from her. They begin to make their way to the main room.

In the main room, Kim watches Rose pray in front of the alter. She hears the door open from behind her,  she turns around to see Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric. Rose was intensely praying to notice. Kim looks at the brothers. Edward with his long golden hair, braided into a ponytail with a single bang, and his long and soft looking red coat. Alphonse was cover in full body armor, with a slight hollow echo with every step he takes. They see Kim.

"Huh! It you!" Said Alphonse. "The girl I saved!"

"You saved me mister?" Questioned Kim.

"We both did." Said Edward. "Let me introduce ourselves. My named is Edward and this is my brother Alphonse. We're the Elric brothers!"

"Hey! I'm Kim!"

"Oh! So you came here after all," said Rose. "Did you finally decide to join the church of Leto?"

"No." Said Edward. "I don't really believe in a God."

"What are you talking about? There is a God!" Said Rose in a sudden burst with a hint of anger in her voice. She then went on a rant on how there was a god, and throughout this rant, Edward glanced and stared at Kim. Kim fell eyes watching her, turning to Edward and saw him take his eyes off her in a quick pace.
