Chapter 4

Shawn's POV

I couldn't get the girl out of my mind so I decided to go for a walk.
To take a deep breath and to tell myself that I am never seeing her again.

I went in the direction where my favorite cafe store was.

I was almost there but someone walked into me.
I wanted to say something but when I saw who it was, I was shocked.

It was the girl from the airport. The girl I thought I would never see again.

She was so beautiful. She is even more beautiful when you stay right next to her.

I quickly said sorry, because I had the feeling I need to. Then we looked each other in the eyes for a while.

I hope she doesn't recognize me. I hope she doesn't know me and hasn't seen a picture of me anywhere.

This was my chance, I thought. You can get to know her. So I asked her if she wanted to drink a coffee with me.
She said yes so we went to my favorite coffee place. We were there really quick.

She ordered a coffee with nothing. While I ordered a coffee with two sugars and a sip of milk.

We took our coffee and I went in the corner in the back, because I thought that someone could recognize me in the front.
My luck. She didn't ask why we are went in the back.

I asked her what her name is.
"Skylar" She said. "This is a really beautiful name" I mentioned "Thank you. And yours? What is your name?" She asked
"My name is Shawn"

"So Shawn. How old are you?" She asked really interested "I am 20 years old. And you?" I answered. "I am 19 years old." She  took a sip of her coffee. I was so nervous because she was really beautiful and I felt good by her side. She was really kind and a little bit nervous, I thought. She was shy, but it was really cute.

We talked a little bit more. I suddenly remembered that I need to go to a meeting with Andrew so I asked if I could put my number in her phone, because I needed to go. She gave me her phone and I put my number in it.

I really hope that she is going to send me a message that I have her number too. So I said "You need to text me that I have your number too."

We both stood up and I gave her  a hug, because I really wanted to touch her. She didn't do anything at first, but then she gave me a hug back. This was so akward, but cute.

"Goodbye Skylar until the next time. And I wanted to say that you really look beautiful." This was sweet, because she blushed. Ohh. She is so cute.
"Goodbye Shawn. See you later."
Then I went outside.

I needed to hurry up, because I already was too late.

My phone rang so I picked it up. It was Andrew. "Shawn where are you? You are too late again." "Yeah, sorry I met a girl." " You met a girl?" he asked excited. "Yes, I met a girl. I am almost there. So I hang up. Okay?" "Yes, okay. Bye."

I walked into the building. I went to the elevator and got to the 4th floor. When I arrived it made the ping noise. Then I got out and went to the room I needed to go.

When I opened the door I saw Brian, Connor and Andrew.
"Hey guys, what is this meeting about?" They all said hey at the same time. "So this meeting is about you. You seemed a little bit alone. Like if you needed a girlfriend. So this is a suggestion. You don't have to do it, but if you want you can do it." He suggested "What Tell me!" I yelled " We can "rent" you a girlfriend. It is ok-" I interrupted him "What no. I am not going to have a fake girlfriend. I met someone. And I really like her. So stop telling me I need someone." "Shawn. This wasn't my suggestion. This was Connor's and Brian's. They said that you looked a little bit sad and alone." He said "But I am not" I told them.
"I am totally fine." I looked up.

I saw Connor and Brian in their eyes. Their eyes where full of guilt.

I was so disappointed of them that I walked out of the room and the building.

I went for a walk again. After a while I only wanted to go home.

When I was at home I went in my bedroom and lay in my bed I really asked myself if I was sad and alone the past weeks. And yes I was. I really wanted a girlfriend. When I have one I won't let her go. I would treat her the best. After a while I fall asleep lightly.
