Your perspective

You gave yumi a gentle smile, attempting to show her no ill intent, before turning back to Paris with a serious expression. "I suppose you caught on to our situation before I could, due to my lack of consciousness. Have there been any appearances or leads?" You asked, shifting around a bit in his hands. "Indeed there has. Although, Both have been dealt with," Paris responded, noticing the discomfort of your position. "It would most likely be best if we had you cleaned up before we fill you in on the rest of the details, wouldn't it?" You nodded in response. He then tucked you under his arm, and started walking with Yumi following close behind.

"Are you sure it's okay for you to be walking without a cover up? I mean, someone might see you." Yumi asked Paris, having finally gotten the courage to speak. You tilted your head to the side curiously. "I understand your concern, but note the time of day. Most people would be asleep by now, and in this lighting it wouldn't look any less normal than it does during the day." Paris responded, looking down at Yumi as he did. You kept yourself quiet, having noticed that Yumi seemed a bit more comfortable talking with your partner rather than you. 'Ironic... considering I was the one more-so made to calm children...' You thought to yourself as you the three of you continued on your path.

Nobody's perspective

Once the group had returned to yumi's house and closed the door, the puppet under Paris' arm didn't hesitate to free itself from his grip. It stood upright on the floor, dusting itself off and popping joints into place. "Y-you could've walked by yourself the whole time?" Yumi asked, the doll looking up at her as it stretched out its arms. "Yes, I could have. But, if someone were to have spotted us like you were paranoid about, it would have indeed caused suspicion. I also most likely wouldn't have been able to keep up with the two of you due to my current proportions." (Y/n) responded, gesturing to her small stature and getting a snicker out of Paris. He opened his mouth to speak, But the doll raised a hand to stop him right there. "And before you say anything, I know I could have easily escaped your grasp, gone into a form similar to you, and followed behind. But for one: I'd have preferred to be out of this outfit beforehand, else there be more suspicion. And secondly: had someone seen the two of us walking with dear Yumi here, there could have been implications which, at this point, we wouldn't want people to assume of us now would we?" She explained, putting her hand down and having earned a scowl from Paris. "Damned clever woman..." He muttered under his breath, earning a chuckle from (Y/N).

"Now, is there any chance you could show me a place where I could tidy up? If it wouldn't be any trouble, dear." (Y/N) asked politely, turning to Yumi with a calm smile.

Paris' perspective

Yumi nodded with a smile, walking up the stairs with (Y/N) following close behind and leaving me to my thoughts. "Well, that's three leads Yumi has given me... but where could the rest be hiding?"

Author's  note- sorry that this chapter was slightly shorter than the others! I hope you all have been enjoying so far. Also, something to note, I couldn't put down a video for background music this time because my phone doesn't like me sometimes... Sorry!
