Chapter EIGHT

Erica'Lee POV

Just after Nique said... scratch that... screamed, She called Shameka. I kinda had a style but I grew out of it so we were going to the mall later. After all it is November!

Remember how my hair was like armpit length-ish. It kinda got shorter when I cut some split-ins and I kinda kept cutting so it is just above armpit level.

"Hey girls!" Shameka said coming in.

"Oh hey Meka." Nique said. "This is my cousin and mom's sister's daughter. Erica'Lee." she then added. "Oh hello Erica. Well what would you like to do to your hair?" she asked showing samples.

I searched over and picked one that was my grandmothers old hair color (before gray). I'm part Native American so my hair will be like brown with hints of red-ness. The length would almost touch my butt.

"That one." I said pointing to the one I just described.

"Okay." She replied while out and calling someone to go pick up the hair. "It'll be a 20 minute wait girls." She said. "Okay. Thanks." I said. She turned away walking the kitchen.

(a / n the kids are in the game room while TI and Tiny went somewhere)

Next Day-

I was getting mad compliments on my hair. It was awesome. Although I didn't tell A'chellie. I told Diamond.

"Hey Family Meeting." Uncle TI yelled from downstairs and I was in my room (used to be the guest room, they had 3 guest rooms).

When I got there I was like the third one? Only Auntie, Uncle T, and me? Duh fuck? "Aye Lee! Get them." Uncle T told me. I nodded and ran back upstairs. I got them (even though the complaining.)

Then we settle in. "You know it's November right?" we all nodded He continued, "Well... this will take a will since it's a big performance. But we are going to the BET Awards next August." he finished. I was excited more than anyone else "Yass!!!!" I screamed. They all stared and I got the hint. I mumbled sorry.

T add, "Andddd... this time Lele will perform a big performance of Karaoke. They think you have the potential to write you on songs." That time I stayed still. "Oh my fucking gee!!! My cuz gets to performmmmmmm!!!" Zonnique yepled.

I just grinned big and stood up like a champion... wow!!!!

It is now April. We started practicing a week ago. The songs I have to do are (since it was a big performance):

It's not specifically in that order though.
