"Why do you like to read so much, (Y/n)?" Bakugou asked curiously discovering you yet again in the extravagant library that was home to his castle. When you weren't in your room you were either in here or in the Jade statue room, but you were always with book in hand and nose buried within it's pages.

"Well, I suppose I enjoy a world created out of fantasy." You smiled lowering the book in your hands to sit up, and felt a little bit of heat warm your face when he decided to lazily plop himself next to you. "Reading is delightful, and getting lost in a world that is unlike my own is kind of..exciting."

He scoffed, biting the tip of one of his claws appearing disinterested. "So you're a nerd. I'm surprised you don't wear glasses." He snickered taking the book from your hand, and holding it out of your reach when you instantly started pouting and reaching for it in vein.

"I don't care what you call me, Katsuki." You stuck out your tongue like a kid, which actually earned a few laughs from him. "This book is really interesting, just don't lose the page your hand is on please." He hummed in thought lowering the book, where his eyes rose in surprise to the left of the paragraphs was a nice ink illustration of a dragon.

"You're reading about dragons?" His question came out softer than he meant for it to, but lucky for him you didn't seem to notice as you gladly leaned a bit closer to him and used the tip of your index finger to trail over the picture and explain to him so far what the story was about.

His interest seemed to be piqued, as he actually paid attention and even flipped back a few pages when you wanted to show him another illustration that had been included of a dragon half submerged in a lake. His scarlet eyes seemed focused and thoughtful, giving you a moment to admire his handsome side profile where you mind trailed back to the steamy kiss you'd shared just a few days ago.

You thought things would be a bit awkward after that, but it wasn't that bad. His attraction to you seemed to be genuine, and you'd learned from your time together that he was more than his snarky attitude and aggressive mannerisms. Even if he had one solitary rule that always had you scratching your head.

Which was you were forbidden to leave your room after midnight, as indicated by the tone that rang all over his castle.

Even though you didn't understand you were amenable to his rules, because other than that he'd allowed you an abundance of freedom. You also got to met the few other people that dwelled within his castle. From a gardener that took care of the flowers named Tsuyu Asui. As well as a tailor that reminded you a bit of Monoma, but seemed to be even more narcissistic named Aoyama Yuga, but at least he made comfy and beautiful clothes. Even the bubbly maid named Ashido Mina, was kind and delightful to be around and sometime slacked off her cleaning duties to listen to you read from your books.

You had a goofy smile on your face as you reminisced about the nice people here, that didn't go unnoticed by Bakugou specially since you'd finished telling him the dragon book summary. After handing you back your book, he smirked at the way you gasped his name when he pressed his nose down the rim of your ear in another strange ritual he always did every time you were together.

"Do I..r-really smell that good?" You shyly murmured, closing your eyes in an attempt to relax yourself. Even though this was like the 10th time he's done something like this, it still made your heart race.
