Tall, skinny, brown curly hair, and blue eyes. That's me. Alexa Norris. (I'm in

no way related to Chuck Norris. Accept, I have an uncle named Chuck. Does that

count?) Haha. I make myself laugh. Anyways, I live a normal life. I'm 16, have 4

of the most amazing best friends on the face of the earth, and I have a job.

It's not necessarily the best job, but I get money, so I don't care.

Today my friends and I decided a day at the beach would be fun. We grabbed our

towels and a few other necessary things and headed off.

As soon as we arrived we set up our towels on the sand and I dragged my friend

Allison into the water with me. I made her promise not to splash me or push me

Seem to care what your heart is for

But I don't know him anymore'

I just wanted to lay there, taking in as much sun as possible and listening to

my music. But with my friends, that's not really possible. After not even half

of the song my friend Emma ripped my headphones out of my ears and stood in

front of me, dancing around and singing the song even though she couldn't hear

it.

I couldn't resist the urge. As stupid as I knew I would look due to my lame

dance moves, I stood up and began shouting the rest of the song along with Emma,

dancing around like a fool.

'Nothing's fine, I'm torn

I'm all out of faith

This is how I feel

I'm cold and I am shamed

Lying naked on the floor

Illusion never changed

Into something real

I'm wide awake and I can see

The perfect sky is torn

You're a little late, I'm already torn'

Right before the song began to slow down again I busted out my last couple of
