DECISION
The night is so silent with the moon shine so beautifully in the sky….the wind is so calm……the room is fell with tense….and everybody looking in their deep thought nobody is speaking, the room is quite….the Beta Lucas look at his mate…..who is holding a baby with the dear of her life……she looks more than happy, she is smiling at the baby who is sleeping soundlessly in her arm……somebody clear his throat….and beta raised his head and saw Alpha Ivan is standing in front of him, “Lucas who do you think…can do this….?” He pointed towards the baby…..Beta Lucas shift his eyes from baby to Alpha and shook his head, “I have no idea Alpha….whoever has left her in our door most known us very well and want to keep her safe….”
Alpha thought for a minute and said, “I see but question is how anyone can do that to a small innocent child…and why?”
The room is again filled with silent….then one blond hair man step forward and said, “I guess somebody wants to keep her safe from something or maybe it is just a trap to start a war….”
Alpha Ivan turned around and looking at the baby, “hmmm…..Daniel you can be right either she is in danger or it’s just a trap….it can be anything…..”
The tracker of the pack came near to the baby and sniff, “she is a hybrid of human and our kind……I can smell it, her scent is mixed with human and our kind…maybe she is a mistake I mean somebody most have cheat his or her mate and result is here” and he gesture at the baby….
Sarah narrowed her eyes and shout, “how dare you…..call her mistake….curse you Jeff….they might be a mate human or not…maybe they were in danger and want to safe their baby….just look at her she is so innocent and beautiful….almost like a gift……if I haven’t hold her right now in my arm than I would have been rip your throat out…..” the baby started to cry….. Beta Lucas quickly came to his mate side and whispered, “Sarah, he is just trying to help us…..please calm down”
Jeff flinch back, “I’m sorry female Beta I’m just guessing….” She just nod and started to hum a lullaby……then they heard a familiar voice, “I heard an arrival of new baby….” Everybody looks at the doorway….there is stands a brunette woman with the baby in her arm…….
Alpha Ivan eyes get wide and gasps, “Melina what are you doing here at this hour? You should be resting” his expression change shocked from angry…….
Melina glare, “I know Ivan but how can I rest…….as an Alpha female I have every right to be here…..” and her eyes landed on the baby who is sleeping in the Sarah arm…..
Alpha Ivan storm towards Melina and stand in front of her, “you’re going back Melina…..i can handle here and why did you bring our daughter and did you left Lesterd alone in the house….?”
“Do you think I’m that worse mother….for your kind information I bring my both kids with me” she narrow her eyes at him….and look outside where one women is holding a sleeping boy……the women stand in the doorway with Melina and bow her head, “I’m sorry Alpha but Luna is too stubborn…she insist me to bring her with kids…..”
Alpha Ivan sigh, “Melina do you have any idea…..your putting both our kids and yourself in danger….it is not safe Melina as a Alpha I have too many enemy…..you have to understand!” he rest his both hand on her shoulder and look at her with pleading eyes……
Melina eyes became soft, “I know Ivan I can understand that…..but I can take care of myself and kids don’t worry and now move from my way….i want to go inside…..or you want me to stand here in cold” in last part she gave him a serious look…..
Alpha Ivan shook his head, “your impossible…to win” and move from the way…….she didn’t say anything and just went inside…..and go straight towards the Sarah….and look at the baby, “Aw, so cute…..Sarah I think the baby is a hybrid…..”
Sarah raises her head and smile, “I know she is…..a hybrid….but how people can be so heartless….leave her like she is nothing” and she looks at the baby with sad face…..
“The baby is a girl…..” Melina sit next to Sarah and her eyes is glowing with excitement, “what you name her?”
Sarah look confused by the question and look at the Lucas who is staring at her already……Melina look between them and her face completely drop, “you are not going to keep her…..? I thought you both going to adopt her….”
Alpha Ivan sigh, “Melina we haven’t decided yet what to do with baby…..pack might be in danger because of her….” Melina didn’t like one bit the way Alpha Ivan referred baby as a danger for pack…..she glare at him, “Ivan this is not right how can you say that……she is just a new born baby….and she need good guardian to take care of…..”
When Alpha Ivan about to say something, Sarah suddenly stands up and said, “Lucas I’m going to keep her….please can we keep her?” she look at the Lucas with pleading eyes, everybody in room look at her…..Lucas look at his mate’s pleading eyes and nod because he couldn’t say no to her and he is also a father who recently lost his unborn child….he also wants to keep her……he shift his eyes to Alpha Ivan, “Alpha, please give us permission to raise her as our child….i promise you we’ll love her like our own daughter and gave her all love and care…..”
“Really that’s so nice….Ivan gave them permission…you know this is right” Alpha Ivan think for a minute and look at his mate who already look so excited and look at the Sarah and Lucas who is looking at him with hope, “Fine….you can…keep her…but if anyone come looking for her then you two have to gave her back….”
They both nod…Sarah eyes fill with tears….she is beyond happy….Beta Lucas went to his mate and hold her with baby…..
“Aw, they look so happy family……Ivan you’re so nice Alpha” and she wink at Alpha Ivan…..everybody in room looking at them….Alpha Ivan clear his throat because he feel little embarrassed in front of his pack…so he lean down in her ear and whispered, “is that so then why don’t you never listen me….?” She playfully smiles at him, “that because I like to tease you….now can you hold Lindsay….i can’t feel my hand…” she slowly handed baby to Alpha Ivan…..
Alpha Ivan looks at his daughter with admiration and whispered, “Hello, my princess” and he kissed his sleeping daughter in her forehead…….
“Sorry to disturb you Luna but Lesterd is too heavy I can’t hold him in my arm anymore; I think he find difficult to sleep in my arm” the women around her 40 said finding difficult to hold Lesterd…..in her arms…
“Then take him to Luke’s room after all he and Luke is a best friend” Sarah appears in front of Alpha and Melina with the baby and Lucas wrapping his arm around her waist……
“No, no! Sarah…..it’s okay I think we need to leave now…..it’s already too late….” Melina tried denying her but again Sarah insists, “No Luna…..i want all of you to stay here tonight, there is a enough room in our house…..and I would like to thank you for letting us to keep her”
When Alpha Ivan about to argue, Beta Lucas cut him off, “please Alpha……we insist”
Alpha Ivan sighs in defeat and smile at Lucas, “fine if you want us to stay here then we will stay…”
Everybody looks happy and congratulates Beta Lucas and Sarah……..
That night everybody stay in Beta Lucas’s house…..
