Anyone But You

I look at my reflection in the mirror and see how beautiful the dress that I bought yesterday is. I'm more than happy that I got it because it fits just perfectly on my body and I love how it shows all the right curves in all the right places.

This morning I woke up a little earlier than I would on a Sunday since I wanted to straighten my hair. I really like how they turn out when they're not looking like a bush and I can say that the me in curly hair and the me in straight hair are two completely different people. Curly hair make me look younger, whereas straight hair me looks mature, a strong woman with a good career and a planned future. I wish it was that simple!

Luckily, last night I was free since I already finished my midterms last week and I don't really have anything for Monday. So I decided to spend the afternoon at the gym and straight after that I came home and spent the time on my phone or just chatting with Iris.

Often my mind flew to the guy I saw yesterday. How could it be that he looked so much like Him? It couldn't be him but it also could. Either way I don't care and I shouldn't care.

I put my earrings and I call it a look. It's a little past 11 am and Iris is almost done too.

"How do I look?" I ask her and make a parade in front of her.  I'm wearing the black and white dotted dress with a pair of white sneakers since I wanted to make it more casual.

"Wow, you look gorgeous. I love it. Someone's going to draw some attention today huh!" She smirks and winks at me.

"Yeah I'll be waiting to find the one at a picnic park with my friend and her boyfriend." I say and roll my eyes.

As she's about to say something the doorbell rings.

"Eek, Joon's here." Iris claps and rushes to the door.

Joon is really hot. It's not appropriate for me to say it but he's really amazing. He's half American half Korean. He has brown hair, he's really tall and has full lips. But more than anything, he's really smart and fun to talk to. Him and Iris met when she participated in a workshop R&R Co. organized. Joon has been working there for two years now. He's 3 years older than Iris so it's logical that he has his future figured out.

Maybe because Joon talked to me about R&R Co. a lot that I grew fond of that company. I just love the idea of working in an international enterprise. I would brag about my job to everyone if I really got there. Most of my classmates dream of working there.

"Hey Gle." Joon says and sits on the couch. "Wow you look amazing." He compliments me as I walk through the door ready to leave.

"Thank you."

"So you compliment her right in front of me while I'm here, your girlfriend, looking like a snack?!" Iris says. Her choice of words is so hilarious and Joon bursts out laughing while I giggle in the background.

"What's there to laugh about? Don't make me change my mind in the last minute." She says and puts her hands on her sides. A frown wide spread on her face.

"You're always gorgeous babe, you don't have to doubt me, ever." He says and she squeals. Here we go with the third wheeling everyone.

Joon stops the engine and a huge field sorrounded by trees lays in front of us. The sky is blue today and the sun shines more than ever. There are a lot of people at the park today since everyone profits from the good weather to enjoy their day off. On the left there are stalls where people can buy barbecued food or whatever other item they need. In the opposite direction there are tables and open space under the trees where people can sit and relax. In the middle, kids and their parents are flying kites or playing football. Some are just walking or running around and of course there are youngsters who are listening to music or reading the books they took with them.
