Relationship Headcanons

- Being the one person on Berk who was ever kind to him (besides Gobber)

- Therefore being his best friend, only confidant, he's always thought the world of you.

- If you're friends with the other Vikings he'll disappear while you hang out with them so they don't make fun of you.

- Not really believing he downed a Night Fury but not saying it either, you always went searching with Hiccup whenever he "downed a dragon".

- He goes to you as soon as he finds out the Dragon is trapped, excitedly dragging you through the woods to see.

- Being the first person he takes to ride a Toothless and near breaking Hiccup's spine holding on for dear life.

- Cursing him out during Toothless's attempt to fling you into the sea.

- Toothless being a pushy wingman, he knows Hiccup likes you.

- Hiccup's talking all about you while working on his tail, flying, eating.

- Doesn't even hope that you'd ever like him back, have you seen Astrid? or Snotlout? He's nothing (in his mind).

- Ready to go along with whatever insane plan he has without question.

- Trusting him not to be setting you up for death when he uses the schooling dragons to go save Toothless.

- Feeling like strangling him for almost dying, but Toothless pushes him against you so you decide to kiss him instead.

- For now. You still might ring his neck later though.

- Hiccup's too awestruck to care about the cheering from other Vikings.

- Dragons. A kiss. He really died and went to Valhalla.

- He's forever grateful that you trusted him, and go along with his crazy plans.- Being his go-to for talking dragon training ideas and Toothless' upgrades.

- Also being the only person to be near as excited as him finding a new dragon.

- Once he starts searching for new islands and species he'll shyly ask if you and your dragon would care to join him.

- Is sure Toothless makes fun on him for being so bashful around you still.

- Needless to say, Toothless loves you as well.

- Which just makes Hiccup more starstruck, you being so perfect even his dragon thinks so.

- Hiccup teaches you to fly Toothless too, they both love you and if anything happens to him, he trusts you to take care of Toothless.

- He is ever the chivalrous gentleman for you, offering his supplies during missions, his satchel as a pillow, that ax Stoick insists he have...

- A great listener, he's always happy to hear your thoughts and ready to do anything if you have a trouble that needs solved or fixed.

- If you're a Strong Viking he honestly swoons seeing you in action, heart eyes.

- Hand kisses are definitely a thing, paired with his sweet nickname for you and a smile.

- If you're a woman, 'Milady' all the time.

- He always tries to find a little something to get you when Trader Johann stops by.

- Will catch extra fish and roast it for you.

- Hiccup is such a sweetheart, and so soft.

- He loves cuddling.

- When he finds a great spot with Toothless he'll bring you there just to relax (and hopefully) receive some cuddles while admiring the view (cheesily he's more enamored watching you).

- You always get the best upgrades when he thinks of something new.

- You're the only reason he hasn't gone insane trying to handle the other trainers.

- Pretty sure your dragon makes fun of him with Toothless. Dragons really enjoy dragging him.

- Always being amazed by how he can befriend new dragons so easily.

- Hiccup's hair is always fluffy, play with it. He really enjoys it.

- He's a stringbean and loves when you easily overpower him while play-wrestling.

- Kind of loses all concepts of 'too-much' and will go to crazy lengths if you like or need something, like a new saddle, or handmade spyglass, emblemed saddlebags, your blanket was chewed on by a giant reptile? Take his only one. He insists.-

 He was Gobber's apprentice for yours, you need any weapons sharpened? Shield fixed? You get the full treatment with the works, all done with care by yours truly.

- Hiccup absolutely loves if you're really interested in something to do with dragons or if you're curious about a new kind.

- Stoick loves you, you're already part of the family.

- He also thinks you're his only hope for Hiccup.

- Hiccup frequently overworks himself and forgets to eat or rest when he has a project, please watch out for him.

- Hiccup is the most loyal person you could ever wish for, you own his heart and he is yours truly.

- He doesn't like thinking about The Future, especially with Stoick's chief talks, but he always sees himself being with you for it, whatever happens.

- Hiccup is still insecure, he's not treated as he was before but it sticks, and he's so different from other Vikings, so much...gentler, calmer, he just hopes he is somehow enough for you to keep.

- Hiccup is emotional. Whether from happiness, sorrow, stress, he's the only Viking he knows who cries and is so happy if you comfort him and never tease him for it.

- Hiccup may be a king Viking, but if anything happens to you, injury or kidnapping, he creates a wrath you didn't know existed, he would do anything to protect you and Toothless.

- He can also be rather reckless at times and needs to you save hi ass on many occasions.

- His eyes light up every time he sees you, a joyful "Good morning" just getting to see you each day.

- Tells you how he asked to become a bread making Viking instead.

- Hiccup isn't quite sure how to reply when you ask if he'd make you a loaf of bread.

-You're both absolute chaos because he'll be exploring and find abandoned baby dragons and he can't just leave them then he's sneaking them home, and earlier you found a scared little boneknapper.....your house isn't big enough. Toothless can't sleep at night.

- He's subtle and heart spoken about things, tender words and nuzzling against you, but sometimes he'll ridiculously proclaim how much he loves you, making a show of it with Toothless roaring along until you force him to stop.

- A dork. 

- Valka is so happy Hiccup has you, she likes you quite a bit and sees how good you are for him.
