In a small town in the thick forest in Colorado lived two dogs Gunner and Snickers who belonged to number 11 fire department. They both had amazing abilities. Snickers could drive any car, plane, or ship and Gunner could use any firefighter equipment. One night both of their pagers went off saying,
"UNIT 11 REPORT TO THE FOREST. IT IS COMPLETELY ENGULFED IN FLAMES BY A HUNTER WHO SHOT HIS GUN AND THE SPARKS HIT DRY GRASS!!!" Immediately, they called in the rest of the unit. When they all arrived at the station they found out that you can not get to the fire by a truck. Then Snickers remembered that there was an airport a mile away with a parachute plane there.They went to the airport. When they got there, they put on their parachutes but the plane would not start so Gunner said
" We should try to jump start it with that car over there."
So Gunner hooked up the cables and started the car and the plane started right up like a light bulb.Then they finally took off. When they got by the fire, a firefighter was scared so Gunner said,
" There is a dog bone down there on the ground"
So then he jumped no problem,but the other firefighters heard that so they jumped no problem too but when they landed they looked for the bone while gunner and snickers did all the fighting. Then Snickers noticed that one of the firefighters was missing, so then they called his name but there was no sign of him. Then one of the firefighters said,
" What about the dog bone????"
Then Gunner said,
" There is no dog bone you dumbos why would there be a dog bone in the middle of the forest."
A few moments later Gunner looked over to his right and saw a dog bone. Then he told the other firefighters and they said,
" I told you so."
Once that went through his mind he said,
" Lets get back to the reason we are here."
When the dogs went after the bone a burning tree fell on the bone and it went up in flames.Then Gunner and Snickers laughed at them. So after that the other firefighters started to help. Then the firefighters took their positions and gave it full blast with the hoses. It took them two long days to put out the fire and still no sign of the other firefighter. Then Gunner said,
" How are we going to get back home???"
Then Snickers said,
" We are going to have to walk the whole 15 miles. When they finally got back the other firefighter was there sitting by the fire station. Then one of the people on the street said,
" Look who it is our heros"
Then the whole town was in the street.Then they all said,
" We should have a parade and thank all the people who helped us put out the fire. Then the mayor gave them a award that said,
" BEST FIREFIGHTER UNIT IN COLORADO." After that they went back to their homes to sleep for two long days they hoped.
