PROLOGUE:

Another day of running late for work and I push the snooze button yet again when I know damn well I can’t afford to. Why do I constantly do this? Must get up now or risk loosing my job. I make the choice to get up now. I hurry and shower before putting on my new burgundy pantsuit I got on sale last week. While trying to put on my matching heals I grab my briefcase to then head downstairs and grab a bagel for breakfast. It may not be the greatest breakfast but hey, it’s something. After shoving the bagel in my mouth I grab my phone and keys, lock the door behind me, and rush to my car. Once I get the car door open I throw everything in the passenger seat and start the car. As I’m backing out of the driveway I realize I forgot my purse. Great; now I’m really pushing it. Running back in to grab the purse I then realize that now I have to drive like a crazy maniac in order to get to work. Locking the door once again I rush back to the car. Pulling out fast I nearly miss a woman on her bike. I speed off in a hurry as I wave back at the woman mouthing that I’m so sorry. The one day I am truly late I manage to hit all red lights possible. Finally. Last light before getting to work and lucky me it’s still green. But as I am approaching the light my phone rings. I see it’s work calling. Probably wondering where I am this morning. As I reach to grab the phone it falls on the floor. The last thing I remember before blacking out was reaching down for the phone. It all happened so fast.
