Omega Karma

Part 1

So children present between ages of 8-12  and betas and alpha children get left alone at their house for long periods of time so they learn to look after themselves so they can function as an independent members of society who are capable of looking after others. This builds independence and responsibility.
This doesn't happen for omega children because they need a lot of attention to become what is considered the perfect omega. If they don't get this attention their instincts cause them to act out so they get it. They only get left alone for a few days at a time that lengthens to a few week as they get older so they can cope if their alpha leaves for a job in the future and they can't be brought along.
Omegas are protected from abuse as they are important and treasured in society, just considered weak, defenceless and submissive. they also don't start heats until their 17-20 and the same goes for alpha ruts.

Karma woke up to the screaming of his alarm clock ringing in his ears. Getting up, he turned of the alarm and set to work on his morning routine.

He took his suppressants, applied a scent blocker and some scented perfume. The smell was somewhere between a beta and an alpha so it was possible to pose as both when needed. At school he was an alpha but if he was going out and acting controlling was becoming too much he would pose as a beta.  What he didn't want people to know was that he is an omega.

His parents are always away travelling and if  anyone discovered this and told someone alpha and beta children were often left to live alone for periods of time to build responsibility and make sure they could preform their role in society.

If he was discovered to be an omega they would try to place him with someone when his parents weren't here and maybe even take him away permanently, and he didn't want to end up stuck in a bad situation like Nagisa is.

The other omega was stuck living with his mentally ill mother, all because he was born a boy instead of a girl. I think that he's an omega only made the situation worse.
If he had presented beta of alpha his mother might have accepted it but to present as an omega, something so close to the daughter she wanted was heartbreaking for his mother.

Karmas parents had only just started going overseas for their work when karma had presented as an omega at the age of nine, he just called his parents to ask for suppressants and scent blockers. They had gotten him some and even came home for a week before going back to their job that constantly kept them overseas. The attention had been nice but then he had been left alone again.

He got used to it and it had been going on for 6 years now. Normally at the age of 15 an omega would be spending up to 1 week alone at a time not 1 week with parents every few years. Karma had resigned himself to this fact and just got on with his life.

Karma walked out of his house and started towards the school.

Ten minutes into his walk he met up with Nagisa. He returned the greating that he received and then they proceeded to talk about weaknesses and wether or not their plans would work.

As they were walking up the hill they were joined by Kayano, another fellow omega and Nakamura a beta.

In total e class had 5 omegas they just didn't know about karma. The other omegas in class were Kanzaki and Okuda.
The 4 known omegas were well protected within the class, other students would chase off any alphas that came to try and hit on them if they were unwanted attention, which was most of the time.

They talked about plans for the weekend and homework as they walked up to the classroom.

Karma liked the company, school being some of the only time he has that he uses to interact with people.  He also goes shopping but that's more being surrounded by people than interacting with them.
