Oh my gawd.... he fricken kissed me.... SON OF A BISCUIT HES CHEATING ON SARAH

He stopped to look at me and saw Sarah run out of the theater crying her eyes out.
I really don't know why he ran after her. Must be love ... I guess.
The next day I sat with my bestie, Eli, and talked about our science fair project and her basketball tournament this week. Then she grinned at me when c/n passed by.
"What?"
"You like him"
"NO THATS ABSURD AND WHY WOULD I LIKE THAT JERK"
"Your taking him tho that game on Friday"
"So, he misses football"
"He kissed you, and you didn't stop him"
"I couldn't get to"
"Sure y/n, sure"
"Just be quite"
She bursted out laughing. After that, we were walking to band class and I see c/n walk inside the class.
He doesn't like band so Eli and I go in and he was playing the "Star Spangled Banner" on guitar. It looked super fun. So I started singing the words. He stopped as soon as he heard me and ran out to the math hallway.
No way in hell I would have understood why so I just ignored it until I saw a paper on the floor. C/n must have dropped it on this way out. 😑😑
"What is it", Eli called from the other room.
I opened it and it was a love poem.
"It's a poem!"
"Let's read it!"
"No its c/n's"
"Oh cmon"
"No"
I started to read it
"Hey you said we can't read it"
"You can't, but I can so scoot"
I sat down at a desk and started to read

The glow around the moon
The silver lining of each cloud
The brightness of the sun
The sweet smell of spring
The warmth within me in the midst of winter
The cool breeze on a summer's night
Everything that's wonderful and great in this world

I started blushing at this. I let Eli read it and she was just as shocked as I was.
"Let me say, this boy has great handwriting."
I started laughing
"It's true!!"
Next thing I know the same note is in my locker.
I went up to him and asked him what's up and he said it was a poem to try to ask me to homecoming. Obviously I said yes of course. He started jumping up and down in excitement. I started laughing really hard and next thing you know we were late to class. Lol moments
The craziest thing happened next, Sarah and c/n broke up. Again...
he didn't care this time but was a tiny bit depressed
On Friday
Me and c/n drove to the school for the game and I could tell he's super happy.
When we get there we get ice creams and I got mine all over my face. So did c/n's. We laughed and had a great time. Next thing you know the National Anthem came on. We stood up. But instead of the Anthem, it was the poem c/n wrote for me. Then, next thing you know, we were on the "Kiss Cam"
