"I don't know how you did that, but you sure have your way with Castiel."
"I do my best with what I'm handed." Celeste smirked, sitting in the shotgun seat. Sam drove calmly, watching the road. Cas had tried to stop her from going with the human male, but Celeste only looked at him and say she was going, and Castiel backed down without more of a fight. Dean and Sam were surprised over the dominance of the blonde angel, but she didn't really talk about what happened.
Sam pulled into the parking lot of the closest store, and got out, closing his door, and locking walking to the other side, where he met Celeste half way, and they walked into the store. "So, you must be close to some other angel, right? Who are you close to?" Sam asked, blinking.
She shrugged, smiling, "I was the closest family Lucifer and MIchael had, the one who stopped them from beating on each other.. but other than that, Balthazar and Gabriel are always there for me. Cas and I never actually got along the best, but that changed when we were growing up. He thinks i'm younger than him, but I'm not.. i'm actually a few years older." She told him, walking into the store and holding the door open for him.
As they walked in, Celeste looked around quietly, and drifted off to look around the store, exploring. Sam made his way to the drink fridges, and he looked for Pepsi. He wasn't going to let another angel drink alcohol and get addicted, so he decided to live with Pepsi for now. He grabbed a case of pepsi, and grabbed chips, his brothers pie, and he grabbed Celeste somewhere along the way, and dragged her to the cash so he could pay for everything. EVERYTHING BUT THE ANGEL.
--
When they walked in, Cas and Dean were screaming at each other. Sam slowed his pace, walking closer slowly and awkwardly. Celeste cleared her throat quietly, "Shut up, Both of you are acting like children!" She snapped. Cas instantly silenced, and Dean glared at Cas, before his gaze rested on Celeste, and he turned to Sam, Thanking him for the pie, taking the bag and walking to the kitchen.
Sam turned to watch his brother leave, before his eyes turned to Cas, "What was that about?" He asked, looking at Celeste, who looked like she had the same question. Cas hesitated, narrowing his eyes. "Dean is telling me to 'let you do what you want.' but we all know what you can get up to on your own!" He snapped, before relaxing just a tad. Sam blinked, "He's right, she needs to get used to earth on her own, you can't baby her, Cas. Dude, she is older than you.." He reminded, sighing. Celeste was busy searching through the bag of candy for the smaller bag of skittles, to notice what the conversation was about.
Dean walked out of the kitchen with a plate, pie on the plate-- two peices, for the count. Celeste instantly looked taken by the pie, and she leaned forward, "Dean- Deaaaan- Can I have peice?!" She asked hyperly, her eyes shining and her mouth nearly watering. Dean looked like he wanted to stab her for even thinking about asking, but he hesitated when he saw Sam and Castiel glaring at him with protective looks over the female angel. He slowly nodded, "Y-y... I-... Yea-Yeah! S-sure... I'll go get you one..." He stuttered, his eyes tearing up as he turned to the kitchen again, placing his plate down and going to cut her a peice.
Sam sighed in relief, and turned to look back at Castiel, "Listen, I will be watching her, i know that doesn't give much.. reassurance, but Gabriel trusts me-- Gabriel. Trusts me. Of all people. So i'm not letting him down. Trust me, Cas."
"....I'm holding you to this. I'm limited with trust at the moment, I have no idea who I can trust. Just take care of her when i'm not around." He muttered, holding his gaze with Sam. It was true. Most people he trusted turned against him. Balthazar at one point, Gabriel beat on him before, Celeste had literally stabbed him a long, long time ago, Raphael tried to control Heaven, everything piled up on him, the Leviathan.. God vanishing at one point, anyone could swear he ran away to Mexico for a burrito or a vacation, from his own mess. Not to mention all the hell on earth Sam and Dean had caused for everyone. Then there was Crowley, who for some reason was the only one with a mainly clear slate. 'Okay that scares me... Crowley, not as much damage done as everyone els-- How is that even literally possible?!' He thought, but he shook his head to clear the thought and flinched as Sam moved forward.
Sam placed his hand on Cas's shoulder and smiled reassuringly, "Everything will be okay. We will help you. I promise."
