Flakes of burning faded in a heartbeat
All that laid was ashes by the seat
He thought that they were the stress trail
Lying dead as thoughts sailed
Happiness that ever lasted on his face
"Nothing lasts forever," such thoughts race
Mind forever stuck in these loops
Rewind, wind, rewind all that mind scooped
Eyes smiled, hiding the burning heart
Fear shoved and hidden in a cart
Walks an enigma of friendship and love
Hurt within, crippled sitting by the cove
Will the clenching heart accept the truth?
Pain, sadness, and anger are all hidden in our roots
And then a smiling face appears one day
Just like a beacon light paving its way
Thus starts the end of the rain of embers
And freedom from lucifers Labyrinth
A web of memories full of bliss
And joyful thunder escapes that he had missed.
