I open my mouth to answer, but Prince Loki cuts me off.
"Allow me." He says with a smirk. A golden light engulfs me and I close my eyes. When I open them, I see a smirking Prince Loki and an amused Queen Frigga. I look down and see the dress the Prince snuck into my closet back when I was 16 and preparing to be chosen to come to work for the royal family. I chuckle.
"Beautiful, don't you think?" Prince Loki asks.
"Yes, yes. Very eye-catching." The Queen answers smirking at me.

Queen Frigga sees some servants carrying platters of food and she follows them to direct them where to place it.
"So..." Prince Loki looks over at me trying to start a conversation.
"So." I reply smirking. He chuckles and looks away. Things between Loki and I have gotten a tiny bit awkward. He has acknowledged that he has 'feelings' for me, and I don't even want to get into that. He's tried to talk to me about it before, but I just don't want to deal with that sort of thing.

"I over heard some guards talking about you the other day." Prince Loki says breaking the awkward silence.
"Anything interesting?" I ask with a smirk.
"They were talking about how they think you and Commander Joshua are more than 'friends'." He answers with a hint of jealousy in his tone.
"Preposterous." I chuckle. "I don't see Josh like that, and I know for a fact that Josh doesn't see me like that." I add looking over at him.
"I see." He says.
"Loki..." I start. He looks over at me. A servant walks over and interrupts us.
"M'lord, my sincere apologies..." He says. Loki looks from me to the servant.
"Yes, yes. What is it?" He asks with an annoyed tone.
"It is time." The servant answers. Loki's eyes widen.
"Very well. Thank you." He says as the servant leaves. "I have business to attend to, but can we talk later?" He asks looking into my eyes.
"Yeah, sure." I answer. Loki leaves as I join the other royal servants. The coronation begins.

I'm in my room. The royal servants were sent to their rooms and given the rest of the evening off.
"Why...? What is happening?" I think to myself. A couple hours go by and they're pure torture. I decide to take a shower. I exit my restroom in just a towel.
"Well, well! Jennifer! If I would have known you felt this way about me, I would have dressed better for the occasion." I hear Loki say. I get extremely startled.

I walk from the restroom to my closet, which has to be on the other side of the entire room!! I grab one of my pre-arranged outfits, walk back to the restroom, and change.
"I'm gonna let that one slide." I say as I open the restroom door. Loki chuckles.
"Oh are you now?" He asks sarcastically. I finally spot him laying down on my bed. I walk over to him and sit on the edge of the bed. He sits up and pats the spot behind him. I re-position myself on the bed.
"So what happened after I left?" I ask. Loki looks behind himself, then at me. He smirks and turns back around. He re-positions himself and lays back. He positioned himself to where his head is in my lap. He sighs and rubs his face, something is bothering him, but I can tell he's being reluctant to bring it up.
"I don't know." He sighs as he drops his arms lazily across the bed. "I left about the same time you did." He adds as he lazily looks to the side. "Thor dragged Sif, the warrior three, and I to Jotunheim to battle the frost giants. Fandral was injured, but nothing fatal." He says as he closes his eyes. I reach up and pull his hair out of his face. He smirks.
"So... What...? Was Thor sent to his room?" I ask. Loki pauses.
"Thor... Was..." He starts. I look down at him waiting to hear about how he was let off the hook- as usual. "Thor pushed it too far this time. He called Father a 'fool'. So Father banished him. He stripped him of his power and banished him." He says as he opens his eyes and looks into mine. I gasp slightly, Loki smirks.
"What?" I ask, knowing he's plotting something. His smirk turns into a grin as I see a blinding golden light engulf the both of us. I close my eyes and feel as if I'm lifted off of my feet. I open my eyes again and realize what he's done. He has traded places with me. Now he's sitting up while I'm laying down with my head in his lap! I try my best to play it off, but he knows he startled me... Again.

Loki smiles down at me. He reaches up and gently grazes my cheek with his knuckles. Queen Frigga has been mainly teaching me two kinds of magic.
1. Healing and undoing.
2. Emotional and mental sensitivity.
As Loki touches me, I can feel something within his subconscious... The thing is, he's not exactly hiding it.
"What's wrong?" I ask boldly. Loki chuckles and smiles down at me.
"That obvious?" He asks.
"You aren't exactly keeping it from me... It's like..." I think about the words to say.
"I wanted you to find it." Loki finishes my sentence. I stop talking and look into his eyes. I know I struck a nerve. "I learned of my true origin today." He says as he looks away. I get nervous. "Don't get scared." He says as his appearance changes from his Asgardian form to his Jotun form. I keep a straight face as the transformation happens. He looks into my eyes, searching for my opinion on what I'm seeing.
