Aurora woke up, everything in pain. Her head pounded as if somebody had hit her with a sledgehammer. But she didn't move. Her eyes were shut tight and she was wondering if she was still in the abandoned house. Open your eyes, Aurora. You gotta check, she told herself and obeyed. Pillars. Windows. Tiled floor. She was in Judgement Hall. But it was different. Blinding white light lit the room. The tiles were black and gray. The walls where white and black. Something black swiftly moved past Aurora' eyesight.
Another thing roared. Aurora jumped up, realizing that she was in her normal form. It's a dream. She slowly slid against the wall and up, slowly gaining her balance to stand. Once she was up on her paws, she carefully got away from the wall. Then she looked around. Aurora saw a large gaster blaster, this one attacking a much larger shadow. When the beam was gone and the smoke cleared, Aurora saw that it was a dragon shadow; the beast within Sans. And who was attacking it? Sans was. He looked like he had been fighting for hours, which he must've been. "Sans!" Aurora called quickly, so happy to see the skeleton again.
Sans looked and smiled at her, "Aurora!" The dragon took this chance. It swung its tail at Sans, throwing him into the wall. Then it fired a beam. Aurora covered her eyes, too afraid to look. But when she peeked through, a large green shield had blocked the attack, saving Sans. The smaller shadow dashed away from the battle, disappearing once it was under the white light. Aurora wanted to help Sans... But was he alive? He must be. This is his mind. This is what he's fighting for control. Aurora took a deep breath and ran towards the injured Sans. The dragon roared, finding out that Aurora was here.
"Sans, a-are you okay?" Aurora whispered, ignoring the loud roar. The small skeleton nodded weakly, not really answering. Aurora let out a sigh of relief. She couldn't do anything. She didn't have any magic, and her friends couldn't reach... wherever this is. The dragon spoke something, something that only Aurora heard: "You cannot save him. You cannot defeat me. You're useless. Completely useless..." The shadow attacked again, a red blade slicing the dragon's side and neck. It hissed, letting its black blood ooze onto the floor, "I have no idea how that... thing got here. Neither do I know how this one got in." He flicked a claw at Aurora. Then he roared, throwing Aurora aside with a great strong claw and pinning down Sans. Small drops of its blood trickled down, nearly hitting Sans. Sans didn't move, too weak to do much of anything.
The shadow didn't attack. Aurora heard the sound of HP going down, being lost. She winced at the noise, knowing who it was coming from. The dragon flicked its claw, and a loud snapping sound ringed in Aurora's ears. She shut her eyes tightly, afraid. It was silent for a minute. Then a loud screaming came. Aurora jumped up, her back against the now-broken pillar. Her eyes opened, finding the dragon on the floor, barely breathing. It hissed and groaned, trying to fight Sans again. The skeleton was still damaged and completely passed out. Aurora saw that he was thrown at a weak and broken pillar, causing it to fall down on top of him.
The dragon hissed weakly at Aurora, its eyes now full of its black blood. A few knives were on its neck, pretty much killing it. But the dragon was alive, very close to death. It groaned now, managing to use its tail to break two pillars; the last two pillars that stood unharmed. Then the dragon went limp, its breathing slowing to a stop. It was dead. Finally. Aurora ran towards Sans, finding a spot where she could easily get him out. She did so, finding he was still passed out. Or simply asleep.
She placed him against the wall, right next to the exit that led outside of Judgement Hall. The one that led to the throne room. Sans was still "breathing," so that was good. Aurora sat next to him, trying to figure out who the shadow was. A voice whispered, someone that she had no idea who they were, "I'm sorry." Aurora curled up, burying her face into her knees. She winced as she heard the dragon turning to dust. Then someone, or something, placed it's hand on Aurora's back. Aurora turned, seeing that Sans had woken up. He smiled, "You got rid... of it..." Aurora didn't know if she should smile or cry.
Sans looked away, and Aurora watched as he turned to dust again. The wolf screamed, "Sans!! Don't leave me!! Please!" She began to sob uncontrollably. It was too much to watch your best friend die... pretty much twice in one day! The voice came back, "He's not dead. He's still alive. You'll wake up. Nice and normal. Dhruv gave up on you. Normal..." Aurora calmed her sobs, the world around her fading.
"Wh-who are you?" she managed to whisper. The voice didn't come back. Instead, it seemed to disappear along with the Judgement Hall.
