I felt a dull pang of... Anger? He had been acting so distant lately. It made me so angry. Part of me knew I was being unreasonable but... "Lockwood..." I started, he cut me off as Holly appeared, "Holly, why don't you stay within my circle, the apparition is about to start". That was true. There was a slight drop in the temperature and a miasma was building. "What about George? He is still at the archives" I said. "The apparition can't wait, can it?...I'll have to talk to George, that's the second time he is late this week. Anyway, Luce, take your position in the circle on the third floor". I didn't trust myself to speak then. I felt so... Ugh! I'm not one of those college girls, talking about feelings every now and then. I was an Agent. I shook away the self pity and slowly climbed the staircase as ghost fog started to build.
