As I decided to move in to a new city,
I wanted to see the world inversely
But it's way different from what I always see
Stars don't appear above the dark sky ceiling
Strange faces, less trees but more buildings
Seeing the world in a different view is heartbrakingAt first, it was easy coping up with time
But now everything seems to be slow.
I wanted to be free, strong and brave
But now I'm imprisoned, weak and scaredI adjust to a new set of expectations
Doing my best for their satisfaction
As I try to reminisce any happy memories like
Those written in the pages of my diaries
Every word seems to be blur, vague
And turns into a beautiful distant memory.Yesterday, it was a new great adventure I've dreamed of
But, today I wanted to wake up from this nightmare
Eventually, I start to forget
how to become happy.Maybe, tomorrow I'll remember what happiness is.
