"Stop this Reo!" Klaus shouted as Reo threw spell after spell over the kingdom. There was no stopping the mad brokenhearted princess of Strauss.

This all started 3 months ago. The princess has just been summoned into the kingdom by the king.

- 3 months earlier -

The door slammed shut as the King stopped writing and looked over who it was.

"THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS,PAPA! DO YOU THINK I'D EASILY GET MARRIED TO SOME SLOPPY PRINCE JUST BECAUSE YOU SAID SO!?"

"I suppose. I am the King after all."

"Well, that's not for you to decide. Especially after locking me up at that.. that place for 6 years!"

The King frowned as he looked into the burning eyes of his angry daughter.

"My declaration is final."

Reo's eyebrows furrowed even more than before as he uttered words that left the king heartbroken.

"I hate you. I wish you'd just die."

Reo walked to the Northern palace and started packing her things. Greedily wanting to get out of the place, she carried her things out of the room with her but was blocked by the palace guards.

"Out of my way."

The guards stayed still.

"I said, out of my way."

"The king ordered that the princess stays in her room 'til she meets the candidates."

Reo, boiled up with anger, threw her things at the guards and ran back to her room.

Ever since the Queen died, Reo thought that she only had her Dad now and that she would be by his side everyday. But that wasn't what the King had in mind. He sent her to one of their towers hidden far from him that no harm may come to his daughter when  foreign kingdoms come to attack the kingdom of Strauss. It was the most vulnerable time for the kingdom as their King has just lost the love of his life. For, after all, what is a King without his Queen? Not only is the kingdom the home for curageous warriors but also the lands that contain all kinds of minerals from mining to growing crops. Because of this, near and far kingdoms have tried to attack the kingdom of Strauss but it stood righteous during battles. The war raged on for 3 years until all kingdoms waved their white flags.. That even in the weakest time of the kingdom, they were strong. But even after the war, the king did not ask for the princess to come back to the palace. It broke her hopes of ever getting the chance to hold the hand of dearest father.

"whoever it is, I don't wanna see you right now."

"Even us?"

Peaked three old ladies who looked as though they've been from a far journey.

"Lady Mary! Lady Anne! Lady Josephine!" she rushed to give them a hug. "What are you guys doing here?"

"We were-"

"We missed you of course!" Lady Anne inserted.

"We wouldn't wanna miss the big event!"

Reo's eyes shifted from overjoyed to sadness. The three women looked at each other and guided Reo to sit down.

"I was so happy when they told me that my fath-" Reo hesitated and continued "the king has requested my presence. I thought.. finally after all those years I could finally hold papa's hand again. When I got there.. I heard the courtyard ladies gossiping about the future of Strauss and my marriage which I didn't even know about."

"Maybe his majesty would just wanna protect you."

"Well, I don't wanna be protected. I can take care of myself."

"Now, now, child." Lady Josephine brushed Reo's soft silky hair.

"Everybody needs someone to look after them. Even when you're strong."

"The pain that your feeling right now-"

"I know I know.." Reo sighed and continued "is the same pain your loved one is feeling."

The old ladies smiled and hugged Reo.

"Let's get you a bath before bed, okay?" they all giggled and started walking out the room.

1:30 A.M.

Reo opened the window of her room as she tied the other end of a rope to her bed and swung the other out the window. Determined to run away from home, she started moving down slowly as she passed by the library window peaked, curious as to who was having a discussion.

"Sire, the candidates for the plan will be arriving tomorrow."

"Good. The sooner the better. I don't want any delays to the plan."

Reo's eyes, more determined than ever to leave, furrowed. She started moving again to the bottom of the rope. Not having the time to hear what the King said next.

"Duke Moris.. Am I... being to hard on my daughter?"

"Not at all, sire. With your condition, we are to marry her even earlier than we have."

"I feel like I'm making her carry such a heavy burden. Even since Claire died, all I've ever thought of was to protect Reo. I know she is stronger than how anyone sees her. Braver than our bravest knight. But I don't wanna risk the chances of her being in a dangerous situation."

The Duke smiled as he felt the King's passionate love for his daughter.

"Sire, rest assure that the whole kingdom of Strauss has felt your love for the princess and will protect her at all cost."

"Come in."

"Sire, the princess has escaped."

The king stood up from his seat, eyes widen and heart pounding fast.

"Search the entire castle! Bring out all my men and search for the princess. No one is to rest until the princess is to be found!"

And as the king ordered, thousands of men were scattered throughout the kingdom in search of princess Reo. Thunder and rain came pouring down as the search continued.

Reo, on the other hand, has rushed out of the borders of Strauss. Soon enough, she stopped at a small town where she stayed for the night to rest from the heavy rain. Yet, the night was filled with roaring thunders as the search never stopped.
