Lino and my lips moved in sync not even breaking to breath. My hands glider across his branded tattoo on his back the same one they gave my best friend. I instant feeling of realization went through my head but before I could fully comprehend everything there was a loud knock at linos bedroom door " there's someone at your door" I said between kisses "it okay" then the person knocked again "uhhh" he huffed pulling away and walking to his door.
"What?!.....why are u bagging on my door like the polica" I heard some whispers back and forth and some glances from the guy at the door.
" okay then we will figure it out tomorrow" Lino says before closing the door fast "know where was I" he says touching my thighs. By this time I was over it and was curious to what Lino was talking about and why he was being so quit about it. "You where just about to tell me about this big master plan for u and your men" "chula it is just some business" " is ur coming back with bruised involved with it ?" " Gloria it doesn't concern you" he says trying to brush off telling the truth " well okay I think we are done here" I say trying to get off the counter "wait" he says pushing me back on the counter " Lino what happened to u telling me the truth"
" yes it has to do with me coming back with this manchas on my face......it's someone who didn't hold up there end of the deal" " that's not exactly a clear answer..you know" " Gloria what do u want from me I telling u all I can tell you" " I want to feel like I can trust a least one person in this house.....a person that won't hurt me" I say jumping off the counter rushing to my room. Hours go by of me just trying to make it through the rest of the day. I end up sleeping in my own bed. Keeping one eye open before I know it. It is day again. I wake up and hope not to bump into Lino or a gun to my head. I guess some part of me figures well hopes there no gun.
Lino is gone a day goes by of me just playing out what exactly might tell me. I hear gun practice gun shoot from Linos men and decide to go to the balcony just to double cross out a whole another idea. There I see what I thought I heard but with Lino participating with the same gun he tried to show me how to shot. I guess he felt me looking because he looks up from the field only to catch my eyes. I walk back into the house to grab something and walk back out a few minutes later to get a glimpse of him hoping to still just see him below, but he's gone then I fell eyes on me. " I would never hurt you" he looks me in the eyes seeing my unsureness " don't you think I would have done something already if I wanted to.......not once have I miss handled you"
I glance at his men to insinuate them " and I haven't let my men lay a hand on you or touch you either" I wonder if they told the same thing to Isabel
