"Are you on your way," I whispered into the phone, as I looked through my heel rack.

"Yea, we're on our way out the house right now," Brittany, the person on the other end of the phone, said.

"Don't forget to bring the ladder," I whispered.

"Aren't your parents asleep," she asked.

"I don't know, you know they caught us the last time I used the back door," I reminded her, remembering mom's threat about boarding school that I had earlier blew off as just a bluff.

"Yeah, I remember, do you think that she'd actually send you to a boarding school," she asked.

"No way, dad would never let her do that," I whispered.

"Okay, we'll bring the ladder," she said.

"Text me when you get here, and turn off the headlights this time," I whispered.

"Okay," she said, and hung up.

I grabbed a pair of black, red bottomed Louis Vitton heels that went great with the black mini wrap-around dress I had on and the red clutch purse I'd be carrying. It also went well with the red and black underwear set I was wearing. I pushed the heel rack back to the back of my closet with my other dresses like the one I'm wearing now, behind my normal clothes. After I was satisfied that the shoes and dresses were covered by other clothes, I went into the bathroom and went through my colored contacts. I settled on a light crystle blue , and put the others back into my medicine cabinet. I put in the contacts before putting some dark eyeliner on and mascara on my long eyelashes. I put on a little bronzer, even though I didn't need it, and a little peach blush, for some extra color. After putting on two coats of red water-proof lipstick, I walked into my room and touched the flat iron I had plugged in before calling Brittany. Seeing that it was hot, I sat at my dresser and brushed my hair out, then proceeded to flat iron my hair. 10 minutes later I had finshed and my phone had buzzed on the bed, letting me know a text had come in.

I stood up and walked to the bed to read the text.

It read: "We're at the stop sign, Courtney's bringing the ladder to your window right now."

-Brittany

I texted Courtney to let her know that I would be waiting at the window, then went to the window to wait. 5 minutes later I heard the sound of the ladder being put against the side of the house. I looked out of my open window and saw Courtney holding th ladder against my side of the house. I slowly climbed out my window, after turning off the lamp next to my bed, and began climbing down the ladder, careful not to miss a step. Once I was down, Courtney laid the ladder down sideways against the house, so that I could get back up when we got back.

After reaching the car I hopped in the back and we drove to the party.

Once we got there, I automatically spotted Chris, my secret boyfriend. The only reason I kept him a secret was because dad. Trust me, if mom was the only one who minded, he'd be coming over any day.

"Damn Kacey, you look sexy," he said as soon as he saw me step out of the car.

"You clean up nice yourself," I said, grabbing his hand and smiling. I leaned in and he met me halfway. What was meant to be a short meeting of lips turned into practically a make out session after he deepened the kiss, it was always like that with him. We stopped after I had lost all the air in my lungs. Then, we went into the house and partied.

3 hours later I was clumsily climbing the ladder to my room. The fact that my bedroom light was on should have clued me i, but I was a little past tipsy so I was fairly shocked when I stumbled into my room, fully expecting to crash in bed, to find both my parents standing there. Mom with a look of triumph, and dad with a look of disappointment.

Busted.
