Chapter 9

~Mackenzie's POV~

I. Can't. Sleep.
I am seriously tired and sleepy. It is now the next day and i didn't even get a damn wink! All i ever thought about that night was the stupid marraige shit my mom put me up to. My mom and dad are bitches, they only care about themselves! And as mucj as i want to understand them i just can't. And now here i am, in my bathroom trying to cover up the bags under my eyes. I look terrible! Atleast Annie looks more decent, she was able to sleep for 5 hours or so. I used a LOT of concealer, and thank god it worked. Anywho, i dressed in this👇

With black heels and i put my hair in a side braid. And if your wondering why i'm not wearing my usual long gowns is because i am just going to the village to visit Johnny. Annie's coming with me so she can also tell hayden about the "marraige" thing. She's wearing this by the way👇

She put her hair in a ponytail and wore white heels. We put on our usual make up and headed downstairs.

"Where do you think your going?" My mom suddenly asked

"To the village" i bluntly replied

"There better be a good reason why you two are going there, it better not be because of those villager boys" katie scoffs

We rolled our eyes and went out and asked  Peter( the driver) to drive us to Johnny's House. Once we got there i knocked on the door. Johnny opened the door and instantly hugged me tightly.

"Kenzie! I thought you forgot about us, you could've told me you were coming, i would have cleaned up a little." He said

"It's fine, i gotta talk to you anyways" i smiled at him

"Is Hayden here?" Annie asked

"Yeah, he's in the kitchen" johnny replied

Annie nodded and went to the kitchen

"So....what do you wanna talk about?" Johnny asked nervously

"Can we go to your room?" I asked him

"Yeah ofcourse, let's go" he grabbed my hand and led me to his room.

"So, the thing that i wanna talk about is, umm, us i guess?" I said

"What about us?" He asked

"Well um....ok so i have to tell you this right now because i might not have the chance to tell you this anytime soon." I said to him in a serious tone

"Okay......what is it?" He asked me worriedly

"I-i l-like you, and if you don't like me back then it is totally okay.....i mean we just met like two days ago...." i mumbled. He stared at me and at that very moment i felt like he was going to laugh at my face or reject me! I was nervously shaking....

"Uhhh.....i like you too......"he mumbled very quietly but is still managed to hear. I took this as a chance to kiss him and thankfully he kissed me back cause that would have been awkward.

"Ok so there's another thing....i am being forced by my parents to umm marry some prince or whatever....please don't be mad...." i said

"WHAT?!?" He yelled

" you can't just confess to me and kiss me if your just gonna be married to another guy anyways! That is so Unfair for me!" He said

"Johnny...please, just understand the position that i'm in. It's not like i wanna be married to that guy anyways! So don't be mad at me! You don't understand the thing that i HAVE to do to please my mother!" i said to johnny.

"Position?!? What position?!? You have a PERFECT life Mackenzie! You don't even do a quarter of the things I have to do so i  could survive!Your NOT the one taking a lot of jobs just so you could provide for your family! You are well educated while i'm here missing classes so i could work my ass off all day! So don't you dare compare our lives!"Johnny said while tears slowly fell from his eyes.

"Joh-" before i can say anything, i was cut short because of the yelling in the kitchen

"HAYDEN PLEASE! I LOVE YOU OKAY! DON'T WALK AWAY FROM ME!" Iherad Annie yell from the kitchen

"WHAT GOOD DOES YOUR LOVE DO HUH?!?!? DOES YOUR LOVE FOR ME CHANGE YOUR MOM'S DECISION TO FORCE YOU TO MARRY SOME STRANGER?!?!?" Hayden yelled back

"Hayden! I have a plan okay?! Let's just run away together! That way i won't be married to somebody else and we can still be with eachother!" Annie said to hayden. They were now in the living room

"Annie you don't understand! Maybe it's okay for you to run away because you have everything you need! Unlike me!! Incase you've forgotten i have a family here that i need to take care of! I need to work HERE for my family! I can't just run away with you!" Hayden said angrily while crying.

I saw Hayden pull his hand away from Annie and hurriedly went out the door as Annie tried to chase after him but he already ran far from her. I looked at Johnny and saw him shake his head disappointedly as he went to his room. I sent the orlandos a sad look before walking out with a sobbing Annie in my arms as we drove back to the castle.  I tried my best to comfort Annie but it was useless, she was still sobbing until now. I am just thankful that our parents are out of town for 3 days.
