Chapter 2: Awkward meeting

"Mm-m-mm.. Mr Park"
I stutter and accidentally bite my tongue.
I quickly get up and bow to him, "I-I'm so sorry I didn't w-want to be any later so I ran and then I just kind of sli-" he tutted at me and smirked "Be quiet, it's okay, just make sure this doesn't happen again". I nod quickly and sort my posture out. "Also don't run, the floor is expensive marble and I don't want it getting scuffed".
I quietly scoff at his cocky comment and and smile a little. I look up with a grin forgetting where I am and quickly drop my smile when I see him staring at me with a blank face.
"Do you find this funny Miss Riches? Being late, running through the halls and ignoring most members of staff, because I don't" he gives a sarcastic smile.
"Oh.. N-no of course not Mr Park I-I'm sorry I was just thinking back to something, I didn't mean to come across as rude I- " because there are many other woman that would happily take this job". I look up at him with a sad expression.
"Yes I know that and I apologise, I sincerely appreciate that you chose me to be your secretary and I assure you that I take this job very seriously, I promise this won't happen again". He smirks "Good, That's what I like to hear, now come this way" he gestured to go forwards.
I smile thinking how well I just spoke and slowly walk towards the door.

I stop centimetres away from the door and watch as Mr Park walks past to open it. He walks in and stands with his back to me to look out the window. "Come in" he states and I do so. I stand awkwardly near his desk, Tilting my head to also look out the window, the view is amazing, I grin while watching all the people down below pass by and wonder what they're  up to in their own little lives.
He quickly turns around and I straighten my face. "Take a seat" he smiles and points his hand down to the seat next to me. "Ah yes thank you" I smile and sit down.

He leans back on his desk and looks at me, I've never felt so intimidated in my entire life, he has one of those stares that rip right through you and not to mention he's probably the most attractive person I have ever seen.
"So, Miss Riches" I snap out of my thoughts and look up at him with a small smile, "Yes"
"I'm going to go through the rules so listen carefully because I hate repeating myself okay?" I give a small nod and shy smile.

"I don't feel like talking much so have this and read through them yourself". He hands me a piece of paper with a list of rules. "Read" I look up at him and back down at the paper.

[Rules]
•Respect my personal space.
•Always do what you're asked to
•Do the work you're given as fast and professional as you can
•Never talk back
•Always look smart, your image is important
I sat there and read for what felt like half an hour, the list just went on and on.
I got to the last one and had to re read it
•Last but not least, Don't fall in love with me
I scoffed and giggled a little, who does this man think he is. I chuckled and looked up but stopped when I saw he was staring at me.

"Uh I think I read them all" I say with an awkward smile.
"Good, keep that list and memorise it"
I looked down at the list and back up at him with a surprised face.. "A-all of this?" He nodded. "Ah okay" I said and looked down to the floor.

"RIGHT" he said loudly and slapped his hands together making me jump out of my skin. "That's all for now, your desk is just outside my door, if I need you I'll call you, you may leave now" he said with a smile.
I quickly jump up and and bow "Yes okay" I say quickly, taking my bag and walk out the door.

I sit at my desk and review all the paper work piled up.
"I'm now a secretary, I'm actually the secretary of Mr Park" I smile and spin around on my chair 
"Alright, Time to get some work done"
