This is a crosspost of a fanfiction I originality wrote and posted to fanfiction.net some eight years ago at the age of seventeen. While my writing has changed and improved considerably since then, this remains once of the three novella-length fanfics of mine that have hit 40k and I have successfully completed. Therefore, I remain very proud of this one and enjoy sharing it as a landmark of where my writing began.
I hope the readers in 2019 will find the same enjoyment in it as those from 2011 and can be forgiving of its flaws.
(The lacklustre cover art was also made at the age of seventeen, and so for the time being, you'll have to be forgiving of that, too.)
Since 2011 was barely into Matt Smith's run as the Doctor, this is written with my Doctor of choice at the time - David Tennant's Ten in the starring role.
