Chapter 3 A New Place

Momo POV

"You can let go now." said the handsome vampire "I don't drink human blood." he sighed I let go of he's shirt "what ?" I asked confused "Royals don't drink human blood ."he replied blankly "Royals?" I asked again "Don't worry about it." he said simply walking off "Wait." I called out he turned around "yes ? " he asked looking at me " Can you maybe tell me how to get out of here." I asked hoping for help a sigh escaped his lips "I'm sorry I can't help you even if I did know a way out you would be caught so there's really no use in trying to escape." he replied  coldly while turning around.

I grabbed onto he's arm "please..."I said just above a whisper tears now threatening to fall. He looked at me "I didn't take this seriously at first, however, now I can't stand the reality of it all so I know you don't have to help me but I really need you to right now." I said looking straight in his beautiful mismatched eye's there was a long pause "I'll do anything you wan-" I was cut off " there's a place I can take you to it's safe and you can stay there till morning, by that time the game will be over." he replied and I immediately  felt a wave of relief  wash over my body.

"Thank you so much." I replied looking towards him "follow me." he said walking on I did as I was told and as we were walking I turned to him now being able to clearly see he's handsome features shining in the light of the moon. I felt my cheeks warm up " Could I get your name ?" I asked curiosity taking over my speech " Shoto Todoroki." he said blankly I let his name roll off my tongue it sounding so sweet to my ears "Shoto Todoroki."

Uraraka POV

I continued walking through the forest looking at the ring that the vampire  had clearly placed on my finger my legs were shaking and my body was cold, fear now overpowering my thoughts and creating paranoia not to mention my anxiety levels rising.

It was just then I heard branches being stepped on behind me my whole body froze and I instinctively shut my eye's. " You can calm down." said a familiar voice I turned around only to see the same vampire from before.

He rushed up to me and took a hold of my hand my cheeks dusted pink he slipped the ring off my finger the placed it on he's own I furrowed my brows " How's that possible? " I said quietly he looked down at me "how does the ring fit both of us perfectly but it's clear our fingers aren't the same size." I asked confused " The rings are designed that way thanks to advanced technology." he replied his voice almost hypnotic "And how are you able to get near me with the ring on but it didn't allow the other vampire guy to?" I asked " Not much things have a resistance against royals." he replied "What are royals?" I asked intrigued by all the information "Am I being interrogated or something ?" he asked with turning away from me.

"No ...I just wanted to know." I replied looking down. He then started to walk away I quickly caught up to him " do you mind if I stay with you ?" I asked looking up at him " I'm actually looking for someone at the moment so I don't think so." he replied not even looking at me I stopped and looked down and I felt my anxiety reaching a whole new level and my thoughts flooded about Momo my heart rate increased and my I started hyperventilating I felt like everything was falling in. What if she was dead ? What if I never find her again? What if I die here ? Suddenly I completely lost focus of everything around me sweat started running down my face as well as my breathing now completely irrational.

Just then I was pulled out of my thoughts " hey! Calm down !" shouted a loud but soothing voice I blinked a couple times before I looked up ar a pair or glowing green eye's. I heard a  sigh escape he's lips " Okay there's this shed nearby it's surrounded by blessed salts it's safe there no vampire can access it not even royalty it was used about a hundred years ago and it's surprisingly still in good condition I'll take you there you could spend the night ." said the green haired vampire I gave a simple nod.

And followed him as we walked deeper into the woods "thank you." I said looking at him "It's fine." he replied emotionlessly "what your name ?" I asked trying to break the silence "Izuku Midoriya." he responded  "Ochako Uraraka." I replied " so about my question before, what are royals ?" I asked remembering our previous conversation " Royals or rather royal vampires and vampires who's family or rather they're bloodline is one of pure vampires meaning they are of no mix with humans and also meaning a royal can never be a a turned from a human to a vampire like the most common of our race, along with that royals possess certain abilities." replied Midoriya moving a branch away from his face.

" Oh like reading minds ? " I asked " Yes but that is more of a privilege and we can lose that ability if we break a certain code." replied Midoriya "I see, and why do you drink human blood if I may ask ?" I questioned " feeding off human blood is seen as a vampires weakness therefore us as royals have to keep a certain standard and refrain from doing that but don't me wrong we are allowed to drink human blood as long as we make that human our slave and in doing so go through a lot of trouble and declaration." responded Midoriya " So why come to an event like party red if you're not going to drink blood?" I asked confused Midoriya shrugged " some fuck." he said blankly and I immediately felt my cheeks heat up " w-wait weren't you just talking about keeping a standard?" I asked my face flushed " Sexual intercourse and other sexual activities aren't seen as a serious matter to us it's simply having fun." shrugged Midoriya. I let out a nervous giggle interesting.

Momo POV

Todoroki and I continued to walk in silence and I felt a wave of tiredness hitting me, my walking slowed down I noticed Todoroki glancing at me " something wrong ? " he asked looking at me "No not at all." I said with a reassuring smile he turned away from me " It's weird despite you being with a vampire you seem quite calm." said Todoroki looking at me " well I don't see any reason to be worried you don't drink blood ." I replied softly.

In a blink of an eye I suddenly felt my body being pressed up against a tree, my eye's grew larger and all the blood in my body rushed to my cheeks as Todoroki pinned both my hands above my body which was firmly pressed up against a tree " if you think that the worst thing a vampire could do is drink your blood." he said moving he's leg in between my thighs and sliding ir upwards " if you think that you're greatly mistaken." said Todoroki placing his ice cold hand on my neck I flinched and closed my eye's shut when suddenly he moved away from me " your heartbeat increased rather quickly didn't it." he said as I opened my eye's only to see him looking at me over he's shoulder I let out a breath I didn't even know I was holding in I looked at him my cheeks still flushed and in a clear state of shock " Oh we're here." he said emotionlessly looking at a shed surrounded by salt.

Just then I saw Uraraka she was with a green haired guy my heart sank and I immediately called out to her "Uraraka!" I shouted as she looked towards me, tears filled my eye's and we ran up to each other embracing in a tight hug " I'm so glad you're okay!" we said in unison both of our eye's flooding with tears we broke from our hug and we both turned around "guess he's gone." we both said at the same time we immediately looked at each other "Let's go inside." Said Uraraka with a smile I returned it and we went inside. We told each other about everything that happened and Uraraka explained to me what the other Royal had told her after a while we slowly drifted off to sleep hoping that tomorrow would be a better day.
