I was laying in the hospital bed while the doctor put the warm gel on my stomach, Adonis was standing up beside the bed holding my hand. I prayed nothing was wrong with my baby. Adonis was saying something to me but I was still in shock and didn't hear what he said.
I seen the picture of my baby pop up on the screen "is the baby okay" I asked. She stared at the screen and for a moment then looked at me. "the baby is fine" she said. Thank you god I said to my self "the bleeding could've came from stress. Are you under alot of stress?" she asked.
"yes". "okay well ima need you to try not to stress that much for the baby's sake okay" she said as he placed her hand on mine. She exited the room. Adonis rubbed his hands over his face and looked at me "im sorry you had to go through that shit baby" he said looking at me. I could tell from the look in the eyes he was really hurt knowing what I had went through.
He helped me up and we exited the room going towards the lobby Aaliyah jumped up "is the baby okay" she said looking at me and Adonis. "yes" She hugged me.
We left the hospital and dropped Aaliyah off and headed home. I needed to take a shower I felt disgusting. I scrubbed my body hard while washing thinking about all the stuff I had just encountered. I slid down the wall and started crying. Adonis ran in when he saw me he opened the shower door and turned off the water. He grabbed a towel and wrapped me up, he held me in his arms. I pulled away looking at him he pushed my hair behind my ear "its okay baby".
2 Months Later
I was laying on Adonis chest tracing his tattoos while he slept. I felt so safe with him he was my protector. Everything is better now I still think about what happened sometimes but I just brushed it off. I was now 4 months and I was starting to show. We had a appointment today to find out the gender.
"baby wake up" I said while rubbing his face. He just laid there "come on we gotta get ready for this appointment. "oh that's today" he said opening his eyes wide. I laughed "yes get up". He jumped up " I already know its a boy" he said walking to the bathroom smiling. "whatever" I replied.
I didn't care what we were having I'm just ready to meet my little pumpkin. "lets do a gender reveal bae" I said walking in the bathroom grabbing my tooth brush. "hell no I wanna know today" he said with a serious face. "we can still find out today, I'll tell liyah to set everything up."
"fine only if she do it today" he said smacking my booty walking out. "fat booty" I called up Aaliyah and told her to answer the phone later that the doctor would be calling to let her know the gender, so she can plan the party. "where you want it to be at Adonis?" I asked "shit I don't know, my mom crib I guess." he said while getting dressed.
After leaving the appointment my doctor made sure she didn't let us know the gender. I called Aaliyah right after "did she call you yet?" "No girl damn" she laughed.
Adonis had to go a couple places so I rode with him to waste time Aaliyah had text me and let me know she knew the gender and was setting everything up. I called my mom and told her that we were doing this today my dad was also out and back home so he would be there too.
After running errands with Adonis we stopped my the store before heading to the party "you want something" he asked before getting out "yeah get me some hot chips" He came back with a pack of blunts and my chips and we headed to the party.
Finally we arrived I was so excited to find out what we were having. When we walked in the door everyone cheered and greeted us. They had everything setup outside "hey baby" my mama said walking up. "hey mama" I replied "girl I wasnt talking to you, I'm talking to my grandchild" she said rubbing my stomach. My dad started laughing "hey baby girl" he said hugging me
Aaliyah came up to me smiling "are yall ready" she said. "hell yeah adonis said" she gathered everybody around us and handed Adonis a basketball. They had a goal in the back yard. When he dunked the ball the color would come out.
"Yall ready" Adonis said tossing the ball up in the air "stop before you drop it" I said all serious. "give me a kiss" he said I gave him a kiss. He was smiling hard as hell I could tell he was nervous. He took off running to the goal dunking the ball in.

Blue powder went everywhere "it's a boy" everybody yelled" Adonis was running around screaming "TOLD YALL" My face lit up with joy I was so happy to find out Adonis came over to me hugging and kissing me " I love you" he said "I love you too"
Adonis was laughing with king and playing around I was sitting at a table with the girls talking. "I'm still waiting on you" I said to Aaliyah she looked at me smirking "how you know I aint already" my mouth dropped "are you?" "maybe" she said shrugging her shoulder laughing. "Bitch when was you gonna tell me?" "I'm telling you know." I couldn't believe it this had to be one of the best days.
We were now doing sparkles with the kids celebrating the gender of our baby boy. I was so happy to be surrounded by family and friends. We were getting ready to eat

I was now laying in the bed my feet were killing me "Can you rub my feet baby they are hurting?" He walked over to the bed flopping down grabbing my foot and smelling them "your feet stink" he said with his face scrunched up. "boy bye rub my feet" He laughed and started rubbing them before I knew it I was knocked out sleep.
