Chapter 6: All fun and Games Part 1

Sky POV

"It be the people you least expect to turn around and hurt you, that's why you keep family close and others at an arms length "

I woke up instantly in a good mood. Why, because it's my birthday ! I literally jumped out my bed because I'm just to damn excited about today and went to go wash my face and brush my teeth.

I walked to my dad's room expecting to see him but after searching his master bedroom I came up empty.

Feeling a little disappointed that he wasn't home I made my way downstairs to first something to eat. As I got to the kitchen another wave of disappointment came over me because I was also expecting to see my dad in here with his" Worlds Best Dad" apron on making my favorite breakfast.

But reality hit and I decided on cereal so I went to the refrigerator and before I opened it I notice a note with my dad's handwriting.

"Happy Birthday Babygirl. I love you with all my heart and I know that your mad that I'm not there with you right now but maybe I'm getting everything ready for your party tonight. Again Happy Birthday Love you !

I instantly felt my face creep into a huge smile. My dad can make the simplest things seem so big and I love him for that and wouldn't know what to do with myself if anything ever happen to him.

After putting the note down I went to make myself the birthday girl breakfast. Right before I could make it to the refrigerator I hear my phone ringing so I ran upstairs to catch it right before the person could hang up.

Looking at the screen I saw that it was my crazy, vindictive aunt Keisha . Let me let you in on about this bitch, she's my dad's sister and only time she come around is for money. I don't know what the hell is wrong with all these people that think my dad own them money.

I was thinking on whether I should answer the phone or not cause I wasn't with her shit today especially since its MY BIRTHDAY! I answered anyway and the moment I heard her voice I regretted it.

"Hello" I said obviously with an attitude

"Um first of all don't answer the phone with a fucking attitude, second where is your damn daddy cause I have been trying to call him all damn morning, thirdly I need some money so can you help your aunt out"

This bitch got me fucked up if she think I'm bout to give her broke, hoe ass some money. And then got the nerve to not even wish me happy birthday and that's where she mess up at.

"First of all I talk to you however the Fuck I want to, second don't ask me about my dad, and thirdly I don't have no money for you" I said repeating just how she sounded

"Lil Girl whatever , just tell your dad to give me a call when he gets home "

I didn't even reply back to that heifer , I just hung up on her.

I decided to get dress and treat myself by getting my hair and nails done and while I'm at it check on the venue for the party. After putting on a new outfit ,I headed to my car. While in the car I decided to call my dad and see what he was up to.

I dialed my daddy number and his phone rung for a long time and when I was about to hang up and picked up on the last ring.

"Hel-Hello, Ugh hey baby Girl "

"Ughhh hey daddy what you doing and where are you"

"I'm at the office trying to get a little bit of work done before the party, and happy birthday again baby girl "

"Thanks daddy well I'm going to get my hair and nails done then check on the venue and see how it's looking."

"OK baby let me call you back..love you be safe"

And before I could say love you too he had already hung up. Pulling out of the driveway I headed to the hair salon.

Kelvin POV

In the middle of a full out shoot out my phone vibrated in my pocket, I checked it to make sure it wasn't my daughter calling and when I looked it was her calling.

After ending the call with her, I instantly felt bad that I wasn't at home with her when she woke up on her birthday, but I got a call from one of my workers saying that he heard some of Von men was coming to shoot up our trap house.

I knew I had to hurry up before I wouldn't be making it out here alive and I damn sure wasn't missing my baby girl birthday.

I stood up slowly, checking my surroundings and headed for the quickest exit. I knew my men could handle themselves so I wasn't to worried.

I head toward the exit but before I got there I decided to text the event planner and tell her to have everything together and the gifts I had for Sky ready in case I ran late.

After texting her I text Sky saying
My Baby Girl ❤: I might run a little late but make sure you have everything together and head to venue...love you-Dad
I knew I was going to be a little late because I had some business to take care of with Von pussy ass cause only a bitch made nigga will send some lil niggas to do a GROWN MANs job.

I slid my phone in my pocket and starting back walking. I finally made it out the door and I looked around in search for my car. After locating my car I went straight for it checking my surrounding.

I made it to the car which felt like it took me forever to do considering the situation. As soon as my hand touch my car door handle I felt the most painful sting hit me straight in my back making me clutch down in pain. The more I thought about it the more pain I begun to feel.

I could feel my breathing getting faint and I could hardly speak because of all the blood. Out of the corner of my eye I see a figure walking toward me, thinking it's one of my men I tried hard to raise my hand and call for help.

I see the person getting close and I start to feel relieve that maybe just maybe I was gone make it out of here alive. The person stands over me and I finally get a clear view of the person and I remember seeing the person around but I couldn't remember where I saw this person from but I knew that they weren't one of me.

He pointed his gun straight to my chest and I already knew this was the end for me and I immediately starting thinking of my daughter and I could feel the tears hitting my cheek. Now don't get me wrong I ain't scared to die cause I know it comes with this lifestyle but I know when I die my baby girl gone be on her own and she don't have nobody but me.

Before I could really get out of my thoughts I felt another bullet go straight in my chest and I lost conscious real fast and everything after went blank.

A/N: Sorry if there's mistakes I wanted to hurry and get this chapter out because it's been forever. I know it's not much but I typed this on my phone and my damn thumbs hurt!
