Emptiness
Even if the dictionary meaning of those words are completely different I'd say they work hand in hand
When you feel numb, no emotions, a pit, a hole and just nothing to look forward to
People say depression is being sad but it's the empty feeling, a pit in your stomach. Having nothing to look forward to, not caring about how you look or dress
Not looking forward to a party or friends
Not enjoying the fun
(And my favourite description)
Feeling alone a room full of people. Sitting at a table with loads of people when you dont even see then it's like your looking past them
When a gun is put to your head and you dont scream "nnooooooooo pls I'll do anything dont kill me pls pls" and then burst out into tears instead you simply say "do it" and when they ask why you simply say "nothing matters anymore, no one will miss me " that is that
Depression is simply when you dont look forward to life when you no longer have a valid reason to wake up.
