Most people are afraid of them, most people completely hate the thought of being in the house alone during a storm, but it's a joy of mine.
Maybe because they let me sleep peacefully and scare away my nightmares.
It brings sanity and comfort to know that the thumps pounding on the roof could make me fall asleep faster than any drug.
