After the war in 2xxx, the Humans banished the Demi-species to live on the mountain that the Monsters were to live underneath.
The Demi-species were formed when the son of one of the few skeleton familys and a commoner human fell illegally in love. (there was a law about having any sort of personal relationship among the two races ). Impact was a male, 5'11 who first fell in love with Rasha, a shy, timid, yet adventurously souled girl. Impact and Rasha left the city and got married on the very mountain that the monsters were going to get banished to. Around a year had passed, and Rasha was going to have a kid. When the little baby girl was born, there were many worries that the new parents had. One of them was the name. "We can name her Ray. It would be like she is the ray of light in this world of darkness, she may even be the proof that the councils need to say that humans and monsters are and can be at peace." Impact stated as Rasha stared at her newborn's face. "I agree, but Impact, she hasn't opened her eyes yet, I'm worried. And scared." " Dont worry, they'll open soon." As the girl's father said this, her sockets opened.

She had pitch black eye sockets, with glowing white irises. The second that she did this Rasha smiled. "Welp now I dont have to worry anymore about Ray's beautiful eyes.
After all of the fluffy adorable days passed, they noticed what a little demon that she was. She would pick wild berrys, (mostly fire berrys,) and wouldn't eat dinner because of it. Ray also really enjoyed seeing her parents being lovey dovey with each other. You could say that she was already a hopeless romantic.
This life of theirs was short lived though. As the girl grew up she kept asking as to why she couldn't go to the village and city. On her sixth birthday her parents finally agreed to taking Ray to the city. The Archer family made their way down the mountain which they lived on. But as they walked through the village EVERYBODY stared and asked as to why in tarnation a couple like this would even dare to come back to the city. The parents simply ignored the comments and kept walking. Ray looked at one of the other children in the alleyway, and noticed that the kid looked like a cat, but with human skin, that was grey. When the family reached the city, both Rasha and Impact's family's were there.
