Delilah's p.o.v
"this what you want dom?!? I tried to warn you what would happen but you just didn't listen did you?!? You stupid son of a bitch this could have all been avoided!! Now you're gonna lose her forever and there's nothing you can do about it" Johnny said while the gun was pressed to my temple and tears running down my face "Johnny please don't do this" I sobbed "quit down sweetheart it won't hurt at all, it's just like flicking a light switch" he said then a shot ran out.......
I woke up to a blinding white light and a annoying beeping sound "hey sweetheart you're awake!" I heard my dad say as he grabbed my hand "w-what happened where am I?" I asked cringing at the sound of my voice. My dads sighed "you're in the hospital you got shot in the shoulder" after he said that everything started rushing back to me Johnny, the gun pressed to the back of my head, my dad yelling "where's Johnny?" "He's gone you don't have to worry about him anymore" dad said. I slowly sat up in my hospital bed wincing at the burning pain going through my body "how did it happen?" I asked dad sighed while looking at the floor "Johnny had the gun to the back of your head there wasn't a clear shot so while he was distracted Brian shot him in the leg, he dropped but as he did Johnny tried to shoot back at Brian but instead he got you" once dad finished telling me everything I felt tears well up in my eyes dad noticed when he looked up at me "hey hey what's wrong sweetheart?" He asked while hugging me "I'm so sorry I didn't realize how bad he was sooner all of this could have been avoided had I just opened my eyes" I cried to him. Dad made me look up at him " this is not your fault you hear me? Johnny is a pathological liar ok this is no ones fault but his he did this not you babygirl" he said while holding me close to him " now you need to get some sleep so you can heal quick, goodnight sweetheart I'll be here when you wake up" dad said as I felt the pain medicine take me off

Next morning
Delilah's p.o.v
"Because dom! She was shot she needs to learn how to protect herself so this doesn't happen again!" As I was waking up I heard multiple people arguing "I have to agree with mai dom she has to learn to protect herself now that this happened I mean who knows if johnnys guys will come after her now" Brian said "his guys will come after me?" I asked while struggling to sit up "there's a possible chance that could happen but that's what we are here for, we're gonna keep you safe no matter what" dad said while helping me, as I was about to speak the door opened and reviled the doctor "alright ms.toretto let's see how that shoulders doing shall we?" He asked "hmm it's looking really good healing wise no sign of infection, the suture area is looking perfect I think we can get you out of here tomorrow of course you'll need physical therapy for about 6-8 weeks but other than that you're looking good" he said while re-wrapping my shoulder "now tomorrow when you get discharged we will have some pain medicine for you just take it to whatever pharmacy you use and they should fill it, any drug allergy we should know about?" The doctor asked and looked at my dad "not that we know of no I think she's all good" he said while handing the doctor some card "alright well we will see you tomorrow goodbye everyone" the doc said then left "I'm not looking forward to physical therapy" I said while eating the food the nurse brought in "no one ever is but you're gonna need it to make sure you get full mobility in your shoulder back so your going" dad said I just rolled my eyes then turned my attention to the tv. "I'm so bored there's nothing good on" I said flicking through the channels "well it is a hospital tv there's not much to work with" Brian said I felt my eyes getting heavy when all of a sudden I remembered "Vince!" I shot up but instantly regretted it "woah woah woah calm down Vince is fine he's got his leg checked out and he is all good" Mia said gently pushing me back down "gosh none of this would have happened if I just listened to you dad" I said while tears welled I my eyes "this is not your fault Delilah I promise you that" dad said while holding my hand
/TIME SKIP/
I was sitting in the garage watching dad pull apart some random car with Brian when all of a sudden i got this feeling that something bad was gonna happen, I quickly stood up catching the attention of everyone "del hey you alright?" Brian asked " I don't know I feel like something bad is gonna happened" I said "Johnny's guys are still out there and they can hit us at anytime I don't want you guys to get hurt because of me" everyone was quite after I said all of that " del this is not your fault ok? You didn't cause this and if they come after you we will protect you no matter what" Brian said while pulling me into a sideways hug. Even though I know that they will protect me I just don't think it will be enough to stop Johnny's men, it's only a matter of time before someone else gets hurt because of me I have to leave before something else happens..... I'll do it tonight after everyone goes to sleep

/NIGHT TIME/

Delilah's p.o.v
I slowly opened my window praying silently that it didn't creak once it was open I tossed my bag down on the ground so I had something to break my fall is I slipped, I climbed out the window balancing on the side of the house I looked at my childhood room one last time then carefully climbed down. I left the keys to my skyline on the hood of it with a note the note said
'Dad if you're reading this then I'm already gone, I don't want any of you to get hurt because of me so I'm going far away, don't come looking for me I don't want to be found I love you guys

I took off down the road passing all the Familiar houses, the elementary I went to, and eventually made it to the airport. I pulled out my ticket and passport then went to get my bad checked once everything was check I went to my gate to board, I was finally getting away from all of this I was pulled from my thoughts as I heard my flight get announced 'flight 317 to London, UK now boarding please proceed to gate 4' I got to my seat, placed my bag above me and got my seatbelt on. 30 minutes passed before the plane finally took off

After the flight landed I headed to baggage claim picked up my bag and headed out of the airport and hailed a cab "where to miss?" The cab driver asked " Ace hotel please" I told him he nodded his head then took off " so you're not from around here are ya?" The driver asked " that obvious huh?" I said while looking at him, he was silent for a second "well for one it's the American accent that's the dead give away what brings you to London?" He asked while stopping for people crossing (I don't know much about the UK please be patient with me) "just had to get away from stuff back in the states" I told him, we talked through the rest of the ride he told me about his family and his grandad kids I told his bits and pieces about my family. Once the ride was over I payed the fee and said goodbye "take care of yourself love your gonna be fine" he said then drove off I walked into the lobby of the hotel and checked in "here you go ms.toretto room 266 floor 14 enjoy your stay" I got to my room and placed my bags down and looked over the city of London "time for a fresh start" I said to myself
