My Thoughts on E Readers/Writing Apps

Now I've grown up in the era of the Kindles and Nooks and all these other ways of consuming books through electronic means but personally....i've never been a fan of E-Readers. I much rather enjoy holding a PHYSICAL BOOK. However, I think E-readers are very good ways of still getting people to read who don't have local book stores/libraries and sometimes find it easier to just get a book off of a kindle. So even as a traditionalist in the book world I fully support other people using them

Now onto writing apps/sites . i'm on one obviously, Wattpad. Now i can say that probably a good 60% of this app is fanfiction or some people's idea of social media. These websites like this though have a whole lot of benefits

1.This website isn't 100% toxic free, but compared to Tumblr. It's a pretty good online gathering place for people of the same interests, especially of the creative type

2.A lot of stories on this site suck. But sometimes there's some real awesome stories on here. And writers can bounce off each other ideas and people can FREELY write whatever they so choose

3.Its essentially like an e-reader. you're reading stories and using your imagination.

however wattpad in particular has some flaws

1.I wish some of y'all would put your stories out in the real world. Some of you guys are truly gifted and should believe in yourselves

2.I distaste the ads. i'm sure you all do though

But i think these kinds of apps/ inventions are a major benefit to the writing world
