Rivalry And Realization

It was a great day at SFIT and Hiro went to his class.Hiro entered the room and sat a few seats away from Karmi.Karmi didn't say anything to him for most of the class until Granville asked a question to anyone in the class.

Granville:Who can summarize today's lesson in just one sentence?

Hiro noticed that Karmi was about to raise her but he raised his hand first because he wanted to summarize the lesson for Granville.

Granville:Mr.Hamada,can you summarize today's lesson in one sentence only?

Hiro:Yes Professor Granville,the lesson was about what happens when you use too much magnetic force to keep a structure stable.

Granville:Very good Mr.Hamada.

Class was dismissed and Hiro left the room but he was unaware that Karmi was mad about Hiro deciding to raise his hand when she noticed that Hiro saw her about to raise her hand.Hiro was walking in the hallway until he heard Karmi's voice's.

Karmi:Hey Hiro!

Hiro:Oh great.What is it Karmi?

Karmi:You know what you did.

Hiro:What are you talking about?

Karmi:You knew that I wanted to summarize today's lesson but you decided to raise your hand before me so that I would look like a dumb girl that loves to feel the air with her hand.

Hiro:That's what this is about?I just wanted to summarize the lesson.I wasn't trying to make you look bad.

Karmi:Sure you did.

Hiro:You know what Karmi?If you think you're better than me then fine but you could at least try to think more before you go ahead and accuse me of trying to make you look bad.I'm leaving it's not like you would care anyway.

Hiro left Karmi in the hallway.Karmi was shocked about what Hiro just said to her.Its true that summarizing a lesson in just one sentence may be easy and tempting to do even though Karmi and Hiro were the only ones in the classroom who wanted to do it for some reason.Karmi felt bad for her accusation towards Hiro and started walking towards her lab until she heard two students that were in the classroom talking about her and Hiro. Karmi decided to listen to their conversation.
One student was a guy and the other was a girl.

Guy student:I was thinking that Hiro wasn't going to be able to summarize that lesson in one sentence.I kinda wished I did it now.

Girl student:I was wondered what was up with Karmi's face when class ended.

Karmi was embarrassed to know that her expression was noticed when she didn't want anyone to know how she was feeling at the time.

Guy student:I think Hiro and Karmi would look cute together.I don't know why Karmi loves Captain Cutie so much.I know the guy is a hero but I'm sure he has a secret girlfriend and Karmi is probably wasting her time loving someone who is probably already taken.

Karmi was mad when she heard this but she made sure not to do anything that could have the two students notice her listening to their conversation.Karmi then blushed when she heard how cute her and Hiro could be.

Girl student:Karmi seemed harsh to Hiro that time when he threw a stool at her.I don't think Karmi would like Hiro even though he's a good person.You remember Tadashi?

Guy student:Isn't that the guy who died in the SFIT Fire?

Girl student:Yeah.It's pretty sad.I noticed that Tadashi treated Hiro like his little brother.I'm guessing Hiro is his little brother.

Karmi was a bit sad when she heard this.Karmi decided to apologize to Hiro and try to be friends with him.Karmi went to Hiro's lab and Hiro was in the room.

Karmi:Hiro?

Hiro:What is it Karmi?

Karmi:I came here to apologize.I shouldn't have accused you for trying to make me look bad.I'm sorry for doing it.You and I could be friends but it's ok if you don't want to be because I deserve it.I'll leave you alone now.

Karmi was about to leave the room until Hiro spoke.

Hiro:Hold on Karmi.

Karmi:Hiro?

Hiro:I will be glad to be your friend and I forgive you.

Karmi was happy when she heard this.Hiro and Karmi hangout for a while.Karmi became a good friend for Hiro.Hiro and Karmi started to hangout nearly everyday.Hiro and Karmi started to really like each other.
